I've been wondering if any of you people have or had build a replica plastic model 1/24 scale of a NASCAR Herbie, if so, i would like to see pic. I've been looking all over the place to find a Herbie Model. Anyway, If anyone have this info, please share with me, I very much like to build one cause i'm a NASCAR Fan and i own a 1962 VW Orange Bug. My daughter & I have each built the Polar Lights Herbie kit. It's a good kit that goes together well & builds good version of the herbie we all know & love. I've also wanted to build the "Fully Loaded" version myself! If you're looking for a version that was from the recent movie "Fully Loaded", you're out of luck. No kits exist with those mods, those I have seen aftermaket decals on eBay that replicate all the sponsors' stickers & even the paint transfer from the race. Just search under Model Kits, then look for something like "Herbie NASCAR decals". Good luck! If any one out there have modify a herbie to a nascar herbie, please, please help me out here. I'd do some heavy searching for reference pics.
