I should have thought to post this here sooner, but for some reason it never dawned on me.

We are putting together a great Johnny Lightning "Get-Together" for Sat. Aug 5th in North Kingstown RI at the home of HT member Dave Antonelli, with about 20 Hobby Talk Members from the New England area. I sent PMs or e-mails to several folks I knew to be from the area, including a couple here on the slots board.

We will have my 40 year old Thunder Jet track set up there to do a little slot car racing, and a vendor who was invited (J & J Collectibles from Taunton Mass) is also a huge vintage slot car guy and has promised to bring some of his collection for a little racing and Show & Tell.

Aw Man, North Kingston is just about a mile outside the range of my skooter... Man I wish it were closer... It sounds like there is going to be a great time there. :thumbsup:
