George spoke with Rob Cutman today and confirmed for the Labor Day Weekend, Willow Mill Speedway will hold a Speedway Spectular event!

With Custom Works help, Willow Mill Speedway is going to have an oval shootout with the following classes (NOTE: Three cars to make a class).

10th scale pan: 4 cell stock, 4 cell 19 turn, 4 cell mod
Nitro: Sprint, EDM (seperate classes for rubber, and for foams)
Gearbox: Sprint, EDM (motors to be determined)

Check back for more details as they unfold!!

BATTERY UPDATE......3800's in stock, and we are going to survey 19 and open mod to batteries, would guys rather see 3800's, or 4200's for those two classes??????

Guys, George is looking for some input on the batteries for 19turn and open mod, would 3800's be better for this race or open up 4200's for those two classes?? Let us know what you think.

3800's will be the Stock class battery!

Thanks, Jim

Beach, 4200's! by now all the matchers are selling 4200's so why would anyone want to purchase outdated 3800's. BTW 4200's will be legal at Seaford for stock and 19t.

The Big Problem And Im Staying Out Of This One Il Support What Ever You Guys Want To Do Is Customers In This Area Are All Ready Buying 4200 Since Most Tracks Have Them Legal For Sept 1st?

Hell, just give me the trophy already and stop this nonsense. :freak: 4200's baby that way we are spending are money wisely,,,my mom said I should always spend my money wisely, she also said go to your room and I'll never amount to ,,,anyway 4200's.

losi888

I think 4200's would be the way to go. Will the X stock motor be legal for this race. Hopefully I will be able to keep up with you guys.

Paul........not my call, and here goes.....................................What about the ORL????????? Is that series NOT keeping 3800's for the REMAINDER OF THE YEAR?????
So with that being said, WHY would you have to buy batteries (BILL A)?

Are the guys that are running the ORL series going to stop racing that series?? BET NOT.

Frankly I am opposed of the 4200's and they will be outdated soon enough. So will it be money well spent?

Again, dont shoot the messenger, George makes the call, I post them.

Hope everyone will make the event, no matter what decision is made!

3800's for stock....all motors legal, we are looking at the x-stock, no decision made as of yet.

4200's for 19 turn, and open mod.

19 turn, any 19 turn legal, and of course open mod, is just what it states. BRING IT!

Beach, I know Classic is allowing 4200's for the Fall Classic (all classes) so if guys buy em for your race they could use them later in the month if they come to Classic.

Eric, George is pretty firm in his decision. I think he is doing the right thing.

Besides electric is going to be a thing in the past if this battery crap doesnt slow down soooooon. Too many diffrent cells, tooooo quickly.) (my 2cents worth!LOL)

Joe, I spoke with George, and he said ultrabird is fine, he is not going to worry about all of the 19turn mumbojumbo, so....any 19turn is fine, and if there is any hoopla, it can be decided at the track that day.

Thanks, Jim
