What many don't realize is that, in direct contrast with Shatner's current reputation as a butcher of music, he was once a respected musician (and had a taste for good ketchup) ... but his taste in hairpieces was about the same. See first image below.

He also earned perhaps his greatest critical acclaim in the little-seen movie Go Ahead On, in which he pulled off the challenge of playing Joe Don Baker portraying Johnny Cash. Soundtrack album cover is figure two ...
