I hear that he's still playing, not sure if he posts on here or not, maybe check with Bill Osborn of RIP Motorsports, Shane may be running his cars. Some of us old timers are still kicking, Bill Bombard

thats a ride just to play around...if shane has a spare ride maybe i could do it unless someone i dont know is willing to give someone who has been out of the game for 10 yrs a try..

Ryan every one has an opinion on what car to run but most of them are pretty competative. Dave and I run Undertakers and the company making them is RIP motorsports. www.ripmotorsports.com you deffinatly gotta come up to marshalls sometime to race. its probly the closest carpet oval track to you if you live in NJ? but i could be wrong.

this isnt ryan korek, but i used to race with him back in the day and i still see him around at the drag strip every once in a while..

i might have to rid eup to marshalls if i ever get the chance too..i figure winter time is prob thebest time for indoor racing correct?

Ryan your right the winter is the best time but keep track of the marshalls thread
http://www.hobbytalk.com/bbs1/showthread.php?p=1574339#post1574339
there you can keep track of whats coming up and if it rains on the saturdays we race carpet. usually a great time. wouldnt be a bad time to get some practice while the crowd is a bit light. but then again there are times when we get a great crowd even in the summer. deffinatly come on down sometime

Hey Ryan, how it going? I did the drag racing thing again a couple years back, we were doing the Mustang thing. When we lost the cheap rent space we had as a shop things fizzled out for all involved. So I'm back to r/c and having as much fun as I ever did, and it's cheaper too. Stop up some Sunday this winter, be nice to see you again. Bill B

good to hear from u too bill..its funny..i have stopped in there from time to time usually on a sunday on my way back from boston..i usually go up there once a yr on vacation. i loved that track and that area in general..i really love boston. the last time i was up there, there werent too many guys racing..but it exciting to see the cars run! i think i saw some 4 cell stock action..which was new to me cause when i raced it was always 6 cell..the only guy i saw there that was racing when i raced was joe allevo, cant believe he is still doing it! maybe ill take the ride up sometime this winter to a bigger race and hang out for a while..it would be cool..

There's still a few of us from the past still racing. Ted's still there, and of course Joe, Pedone still races, but most of the crowd is newer than from when you raced. We even had Scott Wargo stop by a few weeks ago to check on things. Let us know when your coming up, be nice to see you again.
