I was bidding on 14 slotcars from one seller and the Bay killed all 14 auctions...
And I paraphrase...
"We have removed the listing from eBay because it violated eBay policy."
A)I wonder what was wrong with the listing
2)I wonder how many auctions this guy has to re-do?
8)Should I mention the seller?

Damn ebay rules for keywords or some other goofy ridiculous reason....

I can name about 20 blatant violators of these rules that spam keywords or have banner links directly to their webpages which is all against ebays policies and they won't do anything to them because they sell alot.

I am begining to think that many aspect of ebays wiedness is almost directly related to the California state of mind which is almost psychotic by many standards

I was bidding on a few of those auctions also. Very strange. I never saw that happen before.

Between that and the BS emails I receive about this and that regarding non-auctions/account misuse/and whatever that I don't even have running, I'm just about ready to can my account altogether. The only problem is I do find some nice buys here and there at times. :freak: rr

This has happened to me as a seller in the UK........ :drunk:

It would appear I had my listing as

AFX - NEW tyco JL Shelby Mustang 350 Rev1, boxed

This was pulled because I used AFX, tyco and JL in the heading :freak:

If E-Bay enforced this policy uniformly I'd be thrilled. I view those sort of listings as deceptive, or at the very least "search spam." But if they are singling you out or picking on you - then I guess it's not fair. Boo hoo. :)

Its ebay policy, and I think its quite right by the way. We in Germany do have some law about using names of competitors for sales improvements (don't ask me for the english equivalent). But the point is in my opinion: The epay guys were no experts in all areas, nor will they have the time to check everything. So many auctions do that, and were running till the end, that I would assume someone other pointed epay to your auctions. But then, I told epay some irregularities from auctions already, like misuse of pictures from other vendors or auctions, and they were not the least interested in such information. Why? They have the profit anyway, its the buyer who is loosing the money!
