Well Guys thank Tinman he planted the seed and I'm going to go for it. So this fall there is the ROAR elections. It's time for changes. Mr. fraden has to go and i need your support. Now inorder to vote you must be a ROAR member i filled mine out and sent it in today. I ask you guys to join asap so your vote will count in November.

ROAR isn't such a bad thing. the current leadership is. my plan it to make oval regionals a annual thing. Also think of the possibilities. How cool would it be to have a oval national event at Stricklands, Hobby World, MTR, Speedline, or Fast Track. It can be done.

So if you guys want change nows your chance. Out with the "old" in with new Focker style!!!!!!!

Also, as happened with this years regionals, most of the folks in FL don't know the ROAR rules.

I think it was around 97 or 98 in Vegas on asphalt. They ran foam tires there as Richie King caught the BSR Tire truer on fire because no one would clean all the purple tire dust out of the box!! LOL

the regionals this year?/ I'll answer that they got cancelled for some silly rreasons. that is why I am running for this position.


Most of the tracks we currently run at can handle 100 racers. the are a few that can handle more.

Dave: I hope you're serious about wanting to do the job of the Region Director. (For now I will assume the Tom Pedano statement on the thunder chat site is not accurate.)

For years the Region 4 column in "Rev-Up" has spent much more time detailing the State Series events than ROAR events within the state. That sure made it appear that ROAR was responsible for one of the most successful RC series in the nation (FSEARA).

In my opinion....RC racing is healthy in Florida despite ROAR and its Region Director not because of his efforts. FSEARA, FSORS, Mike Boylan, Mike Bean and other dedicated racer/promotors/series have kept RC racing healthy and successful in Florida. I wish nothing but a healthy future to all RC racers in Florida.
