So, I watched some impromptue boat racing recently and im hooked. I'm not planning on racing just messin around at the river, but im stuck between electric and nitro. I dont wanna spend the money of gas(as in 2 stroke 25cc type motors) and find out I hate it. So here are the two boats I have been looking at. Anybody have any pointers or thoughts on this?any help would be greatly apperciated

hey man sorry i forgot i made this thread. Yea i gota boat. I didnt spend alot of money, just the tower hobbies rtr boat, i ran it for about a week with the stock 540 in it and then i decided it was time to upgrade. I race stock electric stadium truck, so i took a trinity p2k rebuilt it as a cheater motor with ball bearings and such in it and put a novak esc and heres what i came up with. Anyways, there are the videos. check your email man

The Traxxas Nitro Vee is the way to go. Electric start, electric RTS system (return to shore) and with some minor tweaking Larger cooling system, bronze prop, large dual exhaust, fuel additive), I have mine running at 40 MPH on a radar gun.
