The carburator has been cleaned 3-4 times. I got cleaner to go through all the holes. The fuel pump was cleaned too and the diaphragm looks ok. I put on new fuel line between the filter and the pump. I blew air through the hose to make sure it wasn't plugged. Using gravity only, a trickle of gas will go through. If I take the carb plug out gas pours out now. I put heet and fresh gas in the gas tank. The tank was almost empty, but couldn't get it all.

The motor will run by spraying carb cleaner in the intake but isn't getting gas.

Does anyone have any ideas on this one? Thanks.

I had this same problem with the same type engine. Have you tried choking it to try and start it? Are you sure? If so, take the carb back apart and make sure fuel is getting in to the carb. If it is then you need to take a very small wire, like a wire from a bread tie, and punch it through all holes in the carb while the carb is completely torn apart.

That worked for me. Hope it does for you.

Yes, I tried using a small wire, and when I pulled the plug a lot of gas came out of the carb. No, I didn't try full choke because I can't crank it long enough due to a bad switch or wiring. I guess the electrical problem will have to be fixed first. Thanks.
