I thought there was 2 different yellows, standard yellow and lemon. the lemon indy is one of the rare ones, but it looks like a plain ole yellow one in the auction.
I don;t know if their friends, boosa has bid on things of mine quite frequently and he sells alot too, mostly big old lock-n-joiner tracks with common cars.

I think there’s a little more to it than the cars-
The track (albeit small) has some (although not great) value on its own. The “bump” track is not all that common and this has the box.
The cobblestone track is highly sought by some, as is the bridge, but I don’t believe he has the bridge- he’s confusing that with the trestles pictured, which indicates this is an over-and-under set.
The controller, although not rare is in very good shape with minimal chrome wear. Plus, I know there are controllers of different colours—but I don’t know which one is the least common.
The bottles of special racing oil sometimes have gone for ridiculous amounts by themselves.
As for the cars (assuming the potential buyer has checked this out):
The Maser’ has all the bumpers
The Stang’ has minimal- if any wear on the stripes
Both Indy cars look to be in very good shape and one comes with the box and label. The other box looks to be a just a half, but still holds value with some-
The Indy cars have different numbers on same colour cars as well. Something to watch for-
I’m not commenting on the seller, Boosa, the Bay’ or any of their selling practices.
This just an observation on the listing-
Cheers..
