Inside R/C will be sending a crew to film and interview at the California State Velodrome Championships at the Encino Velodrome July 22 & 23.

We are excited to have this kind of coverage for this event, that will also feature INSANE SPEED Runs on the High Banked Bicycle track.

For several years, the JULY event I hosted at the Encino Velodrome was called the "SUMMER SIZZLER"

This year in effort to draw a few more racers, the event was changed to the California State Velodrome Championships...well, I have to say yesterday...it was a SIZZLER.

With outdoor temps reaching 118 degrees and a track temp of 152 degrees, cars were sliding everywhere and racers were dropping like flies.

We had over 50 entries on Saturday, but only 16 were brave enough to come back for day 2 of the event. We cranked up the start time today (Sunday) by over 3 hours, starting the first heat at 9:25 a.m.

The track was DIALED for day 2, and everybody who stayed got in some good racing today.
