What year is the car? Is it the 32v or the 5.0 (easier question, vertical tail lights 32v or horisontal 5.0)

Revell makes a convertable fox, but it's a lowrider model. I'm pretty sure though, that you have the option to build a regular car as well though, so you might want to contact them first.

Monogram was all over the Fox-body 'stangs,and should be relatively easy to come by.The Monogram kits were all 1/24 scale.MPC did some as well,though I don't know about a convertible.Theirs are 1/25 scale,and can still be found in AMT or AMT/ERTL orRC2(or whoever they are this week) boxes.The Revell kit that ReplicaR references is the old Monogram tooling.The 1/24 scale is the giveaway.You can find it under either label.(kit # 2345) It's pretty nicely done,and builds well.The weak point is the stock wheels;they aren't molded open between the spokes,you'll have to wash in black or find better.By contrast,the AMT/MPC wheels are like jewels,all open between the spokes;nicely tooled.ReplicaR is right about the stock wheels/tires being in the lowrider box,you just may not want to use them.You can usually find that kit at Wal-Mart or Hobby Lobby,or any number of mail order suppliers.There's an excellent article on Mustang kits (ALL OF THEM!) in the April '04 issue of Scale Auto magazine.
