I have olny seen two of the Mammoth ST's run and they were big (the truck is huge it made my Revo look like a Jato) and slow at our track. but they were not geared for a small tight track. The guys were from out of town and had been running on an oval track. but they seemed very durable because the one guy could not drive to save his life. he hit the wall at least every other turn all night and the truck stayed together.

We race indoor all winter long at Jefferson fairgrounds not far from you.

I run one up here in South Dakota and I love it. It did need a few things to make it more durable but all in all, I think they are a good ride for the money. I am able to run with a couple Lightnings and a Jammin RTR on a small tight track, so guess I wont complain. I do believe with the 2 speed they would work lots better on a longer, more open track.

That is an awesome truck, cheapest truggy on the market BY FAR, comes with an awesome motor, 52 MPH right out of the box also best out of all truggys in box stock form

The only drawbacks as far as racing it goes, Badassrevo hit it on the head that that thing is well..a mammoth, sitting on a shelf next to a jammin and a lighting you can really tell the difference it is at least an inch wider and 3/4" or so longer, so that may take away steering and for racing that would be a problem. Also the shocks would need a considerable amount of limiting to make it handle well

My buddy has one he runs on a dirt oval. 2 problems A 2 speed gears stripped twice and B the steering servo isnt very strong. It has the 457 motor in it so that may be the stripped gear problem but man do they handle.

I have heard good things and bad things about the mammoth st, I think it is a pretty good truck for the price and they are pretty fast, but I had also heard about the two speed tranie having problems and the steering servo but heck alittle adjusting and servo upgrading you have yourself a heck of a truck for the price!!
