corvette with i love new york on trunk. sliver colored car. 1 of 4000.
mini cooper taxi cab. yellow and black. 1 of 4000.
what were these from? series? indivdual releases?

also, saw auction for gil de ferran chrome 2003 IRL indy winners car on the bay. advertised as "rare". well, the ollies here has over 150 of that car hanging on pegs. i don't call that rare! i'd call it overproduced.

Ive been finding these also. I wasn't sure how old they were though. I picked up a couple indy cars and an expedition to customize into one of our vehicles. Are they really 1 of 4000? If so the remaining 3,998 are here at Ollies :tongue:

it's hard to believe there are only 4000 of the new york cars. there are peg after peg of these cars.

and the "rare" gil de ferran chrome 2003 indy car winner 1/64.........i counted 167 on the pegs. they have an original price on the back of $9.00. lol. they will be there till christmas.
