Funny story actually...

Friday night me and my mom went to WM to pick my step dad up a new tool (cool stanley ratchet that when you rotate the handle it turns the socket... anywho...)

Went over to the Die-Cast section just to paruse anything that mighta showed up when i came across Sarge from Cars... my thoughts "Sweet, nice trader." So i go ahead and buy it to use as a trader for something I need.

Then Sunday I had to go to AutoZone to pick up some parts for my A/C project on my car, when i saw a display of Cars and right on the front pegs was Lizzie, again the "Sweet, another good trader" ran through my mind. So I purchase it along with all my car goodies. Get home and show my mom Lizzie, and guess what... now she wants to collect them all!! Her thoughts are "well you appearanly already found couple of the harder ones, Why not get the rest?"

So now my 2 good traders are now part of my moms collection of all of the Theodore Tugboat castings.

Welp, just got back picking up all the ones we could find, now we just need leakless, chick, ramone, wingo and nitroid (although i had ALL of these in my hand friday night when i got sarge, but she didn't say she wanted to collect them then, went back there today and they were all gone except Filmore) :p

I just found out today that my HR manager at work collects CARS.
I would have never guessed it -- a 24-year old Asian-American woman with no kids. She's seen the movie 5 times and is hooked! She's missing Sarge (like me) and Lizzie from the original group. We were talking about the new CARS that were released and how hard it is to find them and our co-workers thought we were nuts. At least I can blame my passion on my kids! :)

That's a great problem to have DC! My wife tends to run off with what ever ragtop I come home with! And I also like the idea of a young woman with no kids collecting the CARS! That's just to cool!

welp, she found all but 2 now, she still needs Nitroade and Chick, she scored Wingo, Sheriff, Ramone, Leakless today
