Hi everyone,

As you may have noticed I have been concentrating on Indy Roadsters and will continue to do so. I plan on making every Indy winner from 1953 -1964 And when those are done I plan on making some of the less known Indy Roadsters and there are a few unique ones out there. My goal is to make two different bodies one for the slim-line chassis and one for the standard chassis when ever possible. Here is a look at 1957/1958 that is in work. The main difference in 57 to 58 was 58 had the roll bar and a hand rail on the drivers side.

This car is normally identified as an Epperly Roadster but it was George Salih that designed it and Epperly built it.

The Laydown Offy
The 3rd person involved was Leo Goossen who who reworked the Offy so it could be laid almost horizontal 72 degrees from vertical.
Over this Epperly put the lowest, slipperiest body ever seen at Indy.
The tail fin was copied from the 56 Novi...
Kurtis,Kuzma, and Lesovski copied the design as early 1958 but Watson made them all obsolete by winning the next six 500's (59 - 63)

The slimline version looks just like the real car! Nice work Roger

Very nice as always.
Why is the cut off point 1964, why not carry on right up to 2006!

I am concentrating on the Front engine Roadsters. The rear engine Indys will be hard to do in standard TJET form. I will probably do some of the 60's as Slim-Lines after I finish all the Roadsters.
