hey all,
im new to this furom but i have a go kart with a honda g200 5hp engine. I keep trying to start it but its nnot starting i have cleaned the carbourator 3 times now, and the sparkplug is getting sparks, but if i take the sparkplug out its dry and I have tried pulling it about 100 times. im starting to think i should just go to costco and get one of their 6.5 hp engines...

if you are pulling it 100 times, and the spark plug comes out dry, then its got to be a fuel issue, it should be flooding, or the plug should be wet with gasoline.

First make sure gas is getting to the carb, take the fuel line off at the carb and let it go and watch for a good steady flow, and hook it back up.
If thats ok, how did you clean the carb exactly? a good rebuild would consist of a carb kit (gaskets and all that) and soak it in carb cleaner fully taken apart for a few hours, and blow it out through all the holes with compressed air.

Btw, It'll probablly start right off the bat with a little gas or starting fluid down the carb.... this means a fuel issue.
