Its a 1/43rd vac-form body I won on e-bay a while back, that I painted, detailed and mounted on an Artin 1/43rd chassis.

I decided to create my own Ferrari Shell/Goodyear 512M utilizing decals I had left over from other projects. The Ferrari name with the yellow background decal and the Shell/Ferrari decal I made and printed on vinyl.

Very Sweet looking red horse!!
Seems to me its got a pretty ficticious lead (considering the era) on the Ford (s) and Mac :D

Nice Job...........Very Crisp!!!

Man-o-man, that one is beautiful!

The 512m is my favorite of the road course cars.
When I look past the rails and slots, yours looks like a 1:1!
Beautiful. Just beautiful, mate!

Thanks.

I am aware of the era discrepency with the background cars. I want to see if they intice questions from the newer members over on the Home Racing World 1/43rd forum.

Yes, I painted the track with Rustoleum Painter's Touch primer gray. The traction feels about the same as before the paint, and its holding up very well. And I can enjoy running dark color and even black cars now.

I did it back in October 2005. I would say each lane has about 1000 laps or better on it since its been done. I thought and was hoping I would see some tire marks on it by now.
