Hello, I have been using a computer with Windows XP Media Center Edition for about a year now. It has a TV tuner in it and you can watch and record TV. I've had it hooked up to basic cable with no box and it worked very well. Now we got rid of cable and went to Dish Network. With Dish Network there is a box which does the tuning and the TV (or the computer) must be tuned to channel 3. This makes scheduling recordings impossible. Is there any way to "bypass" the satellite tuner and control tuning with the media center. I appreciate any replies, but keep in mind I'm a stupid, stupid man when it comes to computers. Thanks in advance for any help.
