don't know if these are seconds or what. but ollies has indy pace cars, and irl cars. the irl cars aren't bad. but i looked through all the pace cars, about 40. and they were of the quality of the former racing champions 1/24 cars. scratched paint, chipped paint. doors not fitting right, parts not formed correctly. i thought i wanted them, but left them be.

I won't have to worry about looking for any. There is no Ollies in my area.

This has been covered before, but for those of you who missed it the products avail. at Ollies and KB Outlets are some of GreenLight's first products that were sourced castings. The company has improved leaps and bounds since then.

Thread title over at Joe's Diecast Shack pretty much raked us over the coals..."GreenLight Diecast, Poor Quality" Ouch!

If you want any of the cars, LMK. I'm in Belle Vernon quite often and there's an Ollie's that I check out for books.

Thanks for letting us know, hopefully this will not tarnish the great image you got revved up with the Muscle Car Garage Series 1 and now the new 1/24 scale Pace Cars which are beautiful!!

I think if you were to check out the Greenlights new products you will be a fan. Thier detail in the 1/64 and 1/24 is outstanding and we have had nothing but good things said from our customers on the Greenlight products. But then again the old stuff might be a bit rough.

Maybe that is why that stuff is at a outlet and at a discounted price. I am thinking we will not see this happen with Greenlights new stuff. :dude:

Try some new Greenlight stuff, you will be quite Happy Kwik.

I have nothing to say but good things about Greenlight. I don't think I've heard of anyone finding a Greenlight "error" car like we read so often from other manufacturers... Jae

Judging from the MCG series I'd say the learning curve is going in the right direction you're evolving quite nicely :p

I did see a Greenlight car with the spoiler broken off in the blister at a local Nascar shop. Other than that,

What impressed me is how big of a jump there was between the sourced castings and the later cars. There wasn't just a slight improvement, with every series a little better than the previous - it seems like the quality went from "OK" to "outstanding" all at once.
