Brock, because of such a short notice before the race the new X motor will not be allowed at the Garden State Race. We will set a date when it will be allowed.

maybe a brushless system so it's less maintenance that I have to do, and still run the show... hmmmm

Just wanted to let everyone know that this weekends start time will be 12:00 noon, the off-road track will also be running so make sure we have your frequency information early so you can get as much track time as you need. This is also a trophy race and race #3 in the Trax70 Summer Point series in which the entry fee is $20.00. We have alot of great door prizes to give away and it looks like it's going to be an awesome day of racing.

Well the first Garden State Superspeedway Championships is in the books! Results are posted! Unfortunately with Jlap the results are mixed in with the offroad results.... you have to pick through them a bit.
Congratulations to Joe Bivona for his TQ with a new track record and a 2nd place finish, also to Bill Auchterlonie for taking the win. Best part is both these guys made their runs with "old technology" cars ;-)
Congrats also to Jeff Zacher on his Truck win and to Phil Marabella who made a rare appearance on the concrete and took the 19T win!

I personally want to thank everyone that came out, I honestly didn't think we were going to get the turnout we did, with the admitedly lack of promotion for this event. We've all learned and will most certainly do a better job in the future. I also want to thank George and Dan White as well as Steve Nye for stepping up and helping get things done not only today but for races to come through the summer.
Again I can't thank everyone enough for your support, without the support we've been getting we will not have a trax70 to race at.
Next event is the Third Annual Paul Heitz Memorial Race! weekend of August 12th.

Great run guys, looks like it was a decent turn out for the first Garden State Race. Hopefully I will be back around the Paul Heitz race in August.
