Have you all seen the money these cars are going for? I would like to get one just to have, but every time I bid it seems like I get out bided by the same person.

View Full Version : There's money in White Thunder's Omega 06-21-2006, 11:45 AM Have you all seen the money these cars are going for? I would like to get one just to have, but every time I bid it seems like I get out bided by the same person. Dave jack0fall 06-21-2006, 11:54 AM YGM Jeff martybauer31 06-21-2006, 12:05 PM Yeah, it's pretty ridiculous isn't it? I'd rather spend the money on something old that I know is a collectable versus speculating on something new that might be someday. People are already paying collectible prices for these things, it's insane. My prediction, these are going to be selling for MUCH less in a year or so, much like all those special edition, low production hot wheels you see guys selling by the case at the local swap meets. roadrner 06-21-2006, 02:30 PM It wasn't too long ago that there was a spell where you could get them fairly reasonably on ebay from a couple different sellers. Guess it's timing. rr micyou03 06-21-2006, 03:39 PM Maybe this will drive up the value on the older ones. noddaz 06-21-2006, 05:18 PM They are the "new" thing... Later they will probably drop in price... I bet it would be neat to run one of those white chassis.... :jest: ParkRNDL 06-21-2006, 09:45 PM They are the "new" thing... Hey, where is he, anyway? --rick micyou03 06-21-2006, 10:07 PM Las I remember he had a track set up in the lunch room where he works. I haven't heard from him since those posts. roadrner 06-22-2006, 08:01 AM He has popped in every now and then but doesn't post like he used to. Definite a great member and surely missed as well. rr Tazman6069 06-22-2006, 08:32 AM Remember Goose Chicken used to do that and then post pics of the dirty wheels and chassis? Hey, where is he, anyway? --rick Remember Goose Chicken used to do that and then post pics of the dirty wheels and chassis? Dirty yellow tires on Roscoe's WhiteThunder. IF that problem hasn't been fixed . AfxToo 06-22-2006, 12:02 PM In the past the White Thunder prices have dropped like a rock after the initial bubble has burst. If you've got one to sell do it sooner than than later if you want to cash in. vBulletin® v3.8.7, Copyright ©2000-2012, vBulletin Solutions, Inc.
