amusicwiz 06-18-2006, 05:38 PM Like Hacksaw has said Bill has contributed much to RC racing. He helped us get our oval race going in Fort Lauderdale and provided motors that were unbelievably competitive. Thanks BILL for all you have done for all of us.
Bob

boatanchor48 06-18-2006, 08:58 PM i think my bulit motors will only come out for those special races

Bill likes to play in the dirt now. He has a nitro sprint, nitro and electric latemodel. He ran 2nd at echeconnee with a borrowed late model at the southern 500. He can still drive!!

McLin 06-19-2006, 06:58 PM For those that may not know, Bill was the original builder of the ARCOR 19 turn motor. He was the first to say “yes we need this motor” and put a huge amount of effort in developing it to what it is today

chip bonds 06-22-2006, 10:10 PM Bill,
Just want to say Thanks for all the Horsepower over the years. I won a lot of races running Bulit motors and Bulit drops. To everyone else come see Bill in retirement on the dirt in Echeconnee July 8th. He can wheel a car and it a pleasure to watch. Bill you know you always have a place in the trailer and a car with your name on it.
See ya on the 8th,
Chip
bulitbill 06-23-2006, 05:32 PM Thanks for all the kind words guys, I have sold it to Danny kovanen at Insanity motors in Tacoma, Washington, Saw was confused, I did have some discussions with a guy in New Jersey but Danny had first crack at it.
I have not retired from racing just winding, hopefully I will be able to attend more races now, looking forward to running some dirt in Macon next month.
Bulitbill
amusicwiz 06-25-2006, 08:46 PM Bill: Thanks for chiming in....how about the "purple drops"? Where can we get them?
Bob
Echeconnee 06-25-2006, 09:00 PM Yep, ole Bill wound some monsters, I still have a 7 turn drag motor that did bad things to a Tekin speed controller, POOF! lol His motors and drops were the mainstay here in Macon and still would be without the advent of brushless motors. He's a smart cookie, he realized brushed motor's days are numbered and made a good decision I believe. Looking forward to the DIRT on the 8th!
bulitbill 06-26-2006, 11:25 PM Danny at insanity will still do the drops if he can find the bottles i couldn't.
I will be sending him the recipe with all the other stuff.
Bill
