I am having second thoughs about getting an electric stadium truck. What are more fun to race buggys or stadium trucks. My track is tight and has only one straigt away the rest is jumps.

Trucks will handel better. But buggies are a bit quicker and a little harder to controle. they tend to push (understeer) at high speeds. also they get upset more easily that stadium trucks. So if your track is blue grove then a buggy will work very well. but If your track is rougher and ruttyer then the buggy is going to bump and bog and not be very fun. Personaly I like buggys more because there are still secrets that have not ben uncoverd in the class. Why has no one figured out that 4wd fronts will make your car handel so much better than those dumn ribs. So realy it depends. do you want a slower easyer to handel car or do you want a faster quicker car? wichever one if you answerd yes to the second question then get the buggy. Also one more word of caution. I have found that buggys tend to be a little more fragile that trucks so when you hit something your more likely to break.

get whichever one is more popular at your track that's the way you should go.

darkscope is correct in that trucks are more stable and easier to drive while buggies are quicker and more nimble but they are harder to drive

something else you may notice is that the trucks are a little faster on track and that's because they are easier to drive so the average racer can turn faster laps

hope that makes sense

btw ae has the only rtr buggy that is race worthy so if you want an rtr your options get very limited but if you build one you can get losi or ae

if you get an ae buggy or truck pm me and i'll give you some tips and hints for setup

personally i love wheelers but they are gonna be more maintence intensive

wheelers have less kick up in the front of the car about 8 degrees i beleive where a truck or 2whl buggy have about 25 degrees of kickup this difference causes more load to be transfered to the front arms making broken front arms more common

wheelers are also harder on just about everything else in the car due to higher amp loads

but the are land missles abd a lot of fun to race
