Hi, I'm new here...
I'm thinking of getting back into the nitro buggy thing again, as over the past years I've owned a couple of buggies (an old SandMaster GP and some home-concoction) and I'd like to get going with it again. It's just damn fun to watch a car run around under your control :p

Anyway, can anyone recommend a nitro buggy? It's not going to be raced or anything, just for fun so performance isn't really important - but it's got to be as cheap as possible! I already have a couple 2-channel radio outfits so preferably something which comes without radio gear to keep costs down. Anything which is cheap and has cheap spares is good, so if I break it it won't cost a bomb for new bits. As I said, I'm now totally out of touch with the nitro scene...
Thanks

really I would not buy the smartech thing( sure the price is right but the parts would be hard to find ), really I would look at your lhs and see what they have parts for that way if you break something you can go to your lhs and buy the parts without worrieing about gettting the right thing off ebay,
Hope this helps,

I would check out an XTMbuggy. They are actually pretty good cars.

The RTR comes with a SPEKTRUM radio installed no freq. issues to worry about later on when running with other people.

The xtm buggy is awesome, and for the price it is hard to beat!

Thanks, I'll have a look at the XTM then. I was initially a bit wary about ebay cars too, it was mostly unbranded stuff.
