Got a problem with my B&S 12.5 engine. It only runs on the choke at present.

Any ideas suggestions welcome.

Rebuilt the carb, take it apart, tear it apart and soak it for a few hours in carb cleaner and blow it out with compressed air..

Before that though..... is the air filter dirty? Did it get wet with anything? Replace it and see if it helps.

Yup, cleaning the carb is definetly a good thing to do. If it happened gradually and it didn't happen just one day, try re-adjusting the needles.
