Hey, my brushless controller from Aveox is busted :(
i found an small surface mount piece severely cracked and when i touched it, it fell apart, so i need to find out what it was so i can get one from digikey :)

It's UBER tiny... any help would be appreciated.
I want the fasted swamp buggy ever :D

It looks something like this if you were to take a cross section of it:

____________
|____________| --- ceramic or plastic square on top
//////////////// --- center of the piece is wrapped with copper wire
O---------------O --- base with solder points on each end

After scanning the hundreds of pages of the Digikey book... looks like a power transducer...

i shunted the connection and the controller came back to life, and let me set up w/ led and everything, but no power to motor, possibly because it NEEDS the transducer, lol

no way for me to know what rating the little bugger was, though, any ideas?

How many connection points?
2- Capacitor, Resistor, Diode, Fuse
3- Transistor, SCR, V-Regulator
4- Could be a Xtal or Oscillator?
5- Timer, Pulsegen, clock
6- Integrated Ckt

It looks and sounds like a surface mount inductor. Should be 3 colored dots on the top of it to give you the value/tolerance. I do PWB design, so I see these all the time.

Does it look like this?
