Anyone have a suggestion as to the best place & lowest price to get Spektrum module and receivers? I need to go mail order since no hobby shops are close.

I'd say the smartest move right now would be ebay. Tons of people (you know the ones, they sell an M8 to get more buttons on an M11) are dumping the original Skeptrum stuff right to get the "pro" stuff because they think a human being can detect millisecond delay differences (maybe some can, but certainly not this one).

Some folks really need newer stuff, many just need bling - profit from conspicuous consumption and get a perfectly good Spektrum set for a steal. If you're really looking for a bargain, look for auctions with misspellings, ones listed in the wrong category, and ones with an awkward set of items lumped together (resell the extra stuff for more savings).
