I have a sears riding mower with a 14hp kohler engine up till recently it ran with no problems. I can start it and run it about 10 minutes and it will die. At this point it will not start again acts like its not getting fuel. Let it set for 30 minutes starts easy and will run for another 10 minutes then dies again.
Fuel filter has been changed gas seems to be getting to the carb.
There is a solenoid (sp?) at the bottom of the carb. bowl could this be overheating and shutting off the fuel supply?

See if running it without the gascap helps...... if that doesn't do it, check for spark right after it quits.

check tank screen,drain and clean bowl.
