Hello everyone....... I have a 21HP Briggs Rider that is spewing gas out of the small tube on top of the carb.It is a recent problem...and it will only run on full choke...float stuck?...please help if you can......

Whoa! What kind of engine? Does this thing have a fuel pump? If so the float may be stuck in the open position. Time to take the carb apart, clean it out GOOOOD,blow all ports and jets with compressed air, check the high speed jet for carbon deposits, replace the necessary gaskets and valves, and make sure that the float valve is properly attached to the float tab with that small wire thing if applicable.

Also had another thought. When you disassemble the carb, look for debris stuck in the float valve that may be holding it open. If you got stuff in your fuel, it may be time to change the filter and clean your tank also.

saw trash in the fuel filter,changed it....then the problem started....great mower, this is the only problem ive ever had with it...thanks
