Lightningrod 06-03-2006, 01:48 PM I like it!
An old friend of mine had a really cool 1940s Chevy pickup with a nice running Ford 302 under the hood. It used to raise a few eyebrows.
air_cooled65 06-03-2006, 02:00 PM its just a camaro, no loss. :) Thats a funky looking EFI intake setup.
I don't like it, but whatever floats your boat.
Talking about pickups, I've always wanted to build a 50's Ford pickup (they look better than chevys) with a stout Chevy SB, that would be sweet.

69Stang 06-03-2006, 02:11 PM Gonna be a great looking ride! I have never been a purist, so I say go for it. For years Chevy 350 SB's have been a staple in Ford street rods, why not turn it around!
Chevreader 06-03-2006, 02:27 PM That is cool
in2deep 06-03-2006, 03:14 PM Chevies are always in Ferd's, why not a Ferd in a Chevy?
STUTZ 06-03-2006, 03:42 PM It's still a very nice '68 Camaro!
I would be thrilled to have that car, Ford engine or not!
williehunk 06-03-2006, 04:25 PM Who would do such a thing? It's unamerican I tell you! Please say it's not so.
The whole world is comming to an end!!! lol lmao Aw heck it's pretty cool just keep the hood shut. Bob
RacerJoe 06-03-2006, 04:47 PM Lol, you might be ticking off those Ford purist. However, Its not the Best choice I can think of for the Camaro there but Hey, it will turn the tires. Lately I've seen a '70 Cuda and a few other of the old classics fitted with a V-10 Viper motor. Now talk about Power to pound the ground, they're awesome. Give them a google. :)
eyecandy 06-03-2006, 04:51 PM Pretty neat! I also really like those rims on that car.
Scott Moen 06-03-2006, 07:37 PM LOL ! The Chairman of my Mustang Club has always wanted to build a nice early '60's Corvette with a built Ford 289 V-8 ! This is the same man who in the early '70's took a low mileage '65 Mustang GT 2+2 and turned it into something called the "MUSTRUCK" ! I've only seen the pictures once and that was enough to give me nightmares for a LONG time
Still, I would love to see him build his Fordvette ! ! ! Take care all and have a great rest of the weekend.

P.S. - I like the Ford 302 CAMARO :D
glhshelby 06-03-2006, 08:44 PM that camaro actually looks awesome, and I`d drive it as soon as I could stick a hemi or viper motor in it.
Puppycat 06-03-2006, 10:22 PM Finally a Camaro that has started to evolve. Darwin would be proud!
PWSchuh 06-03-2006, 10:53 PM Finally a Camaro that has started to devolve. Darwin is dead!
There. Fixed it for you!! :p
Atencio 06-03-2006, 11:15 PM Clean looking car. I love that handmade upper intake. I wonder if having two throttle bodies and mass airs is all that beneficial?
