MIDWESTRC 06-14-2006, 09:18 AM Cody's in for stock. I'll run Latemodel if we have it that weekend.
triclone-dave 06-14-2006, 10:19 PM Steve we will be running Latemodel
Are we going to do the single minute quailifier
I've looked at the results on www.triclone.net 6.0 lap in stock class? is that because of were the main starts?
I'm guessing that's because we start on the back stretch this year. Stock lap times should be 7.2-7.0. Last time I was running stock, we were doing 34 laps in 4 minutes.
OH THAT EXPLAINS IT THEN. FOR A WHILE i WAS THINKING HOLY CRUD THE STOCK GUYS GOT REALLY FAST
jflack 06-23-2006, 11:01 PM That 6.0 is a short lap due to where the cars start for the Main. I believe all qual heats are IFMAR style. There has already been a 35 lap ran in stock this year IFMAR. 6.6 sec laps u front, 6.9-7.0 sec out the back.....
haysreeling 06-24-2006, 09:02 PM You forgot to mention it was you Jimmy!! No one has come close yet this year..
See ya next week, better bring your A game, the boys are getting fast! Jr and Corey both did 50 laps in BL today. Thanks to the Michigan guys who came this week maybe they can post some tips they picked up. If anyone has any set-up questions, we will be more than happy to answer them.
The track will be open Fri for the Jim Wick Memorial race. We miss ya Jim, you would have loved some of the great racing going on around here lately...............
Lets have a good turnout for this annual race, the best race of the year around here.

hopefully the rain will hold off as I need some track time
I think you'll need a little bit more than just track time!
jflack 07-01-2006, 09:41 PM Track was slow due to High winds, until the last Qual. Then it was on Cory Heft TQ Brushless 51/5:03, Stock TQ is Jimmy Flack(Me) 35 4:05......Not sure who is TQ in latemodel..It looks like the rain is coming, so track will be different for Sunday. Anything has to be better than 40MPH winds.

tw78911sc 07-03-2006, 12:21 PM Great event. Steep learning experience coming from flat carpet, but well worth it. Special thanks to Cory and everyone else that spent time with me trying to get a car that would stay off the walls. Can't wait to come back for the BL bash. Nice to meet many of the HobbyTalk names and put a face on them.
