Hi frequently I get mowers from people and they tell me they have not started them 3, 4, 5 yrs or more. Now I now the carbs get gunked up but is there any quick easy tricks to getting these things running other than a carb cleaning? Just wondering if there is any shot cuts main jet cleaning via the screw on the bowl or other ways?

Nope.... no way around it.... nothing you add to the gas either, will help it any better then a good carb rebuild.
