chim13 06-02-2006, 11:06 AM Thought that i would start this tread. If you have any questions about the track, or any suggestions. Please post them here and i will respond to them as quickly as i can. I hope that everyone is as excited about this race year as i am, alot of things going on ie triple crown , fun layout to start the season, two more layouts to come this year, and a few special events to round out the year. I had a blast last weekend. Hope that it is even better this weekend. I would love to see all the electric guys out there, miss have the conversations with all of you. If there is anything that you need to make your race day eaiser let me know and i am sure that we can accomidate you. I will try and give recaps of all the race each week. Man there was some great racing last week. The truggys were out in full force, many great battles in that class. The 1/8 class was hot too, with some old faces poping up again, great to see you raceing again Jason Kuhn. Well that is all for now
Remember assphalt is for gittin there and dirt is for racing.

Electricity at the track would be a huge help. Also a track surface that easier on electric vehicles. I'm not talking about the layout but the dust is an issue. Even when I ran 1/8th scale there a few times last year my car would have to be torn down after a race day at K and B. Are you guys coating the track this year with any thing to control the dust? I enjoyed running at the track but you asked for opinions so there you have it.
What are the track fees going to be this year?
chim13 06-02-2006, 05:49 PM We have a extra generator at the track for the electric guys with a bunch of plug ins. I problem with the dust is under control we are coating the track with soap everytime that we water. I do know that i still break my car down every time i race, that is always going to be the case on what ever track that i go on just to make sure that my car is in perfect working order. I can teel you this the k and b is alot cleaner on my car than alot of other tracks that i have been to and the list of tracks that i have been on is very large. The fees this year are $12 per 1st class and $5 for each after that. I hope that helps you guys in your decision on coming out this year we would love to have you. thanks again.
chim13 06-03-2006, 11:02 PM The Track is all set lets go racing. Hope to see you all there.
chim13 06-09-2006, 07:31 PM Looking for another great weekend of racing thought i would remind everyone that we race every sunday. Hope to see you all out there
chim13 06-10-2006, 06:42 PM The track is ready and in great shape. The weather is going to be perfect. I hope to see a big turn out. Should be a great day of racing. chim13 06-13-2006, 02:05 PM Just to make something very clear, while on the track you do not have to take the loop there is a alternate route. We are taking the loop off the track for this weekend and it will not return. Yes there will be racing this weekend

If anyone has a question PM me.
See ya there!!!!
Chris
ccm399 08-04-2006, 09:46 PM I left a few things out....
First:
Monster Truck A-main 15 minutes
B-main 7 minutes
all other mains 5 minutes
Second:
If we get rained out on Saturday we will follow K&B's lead and run the race on Sunday...same times.
Last....and MOST important:
The track is located in a public park, this means NO alcoholic beverages!!!!! I hope no drugs goes without saying.
As far as directions from K&B, 90 west to 271 south to the exit for Rt 94. (exit 3 I believe) turn right on 94 follow the signs for Rt 3 south. Take Rt 3 to the blinking lights (two sets) in the middle of the two sets of blinking lights you turn right into the service enterance for Reagan park the road goes down a hill and then you'll come to a "Y" take the left leg then you will see the drivers stand right in front of you. Park in the parking lot and come have some fun!
If yuo map quest the intersection of Rt 3 and Reagan Parkway in Medina (44256) that will get you real close! Just go about 1/2 mile past Reagan Parkway and you will see the blinking lights.
Chris
Dietz 08-13-2006, 10:06 PM I just want to say that I had a good time today, the track was fun and challenging.
I wish Ryan hadn't broke,I would have liked to lap him twice!!!!:)
I'm hoping I can make it up there again before the end of the season.
I would like to thank Rick Durkovic for sponsoring the trophys,it was a nicely added touch. Not expecting anything and getting a trophy was nice for a change. It brought back memories of back in the day when you at least got something after a day of racing, not just a "Thank's for coming". race you later, Frank
scrapheep 08-15-2006, 06:49 AM This race was a blast last year so we decided to do it again
Saturday September 2 gates will open at 6pm...3 rounds of qualifying will begin at dusk.

Food consessions will be on hand for Sat night and for breakfast on Sunday.
On site camping is availiable, with a bon fire Saturday night...still seeking a volenteer witch for the campfire though
Entries will be $15 for first class, $7 each additional class.
Come on out and join us for some great racing and good natured shenagins
ccm399 08-18-2006, 11:23 PM Well guys doesn't look good.
I was out at the track earlier and it was raining pretty hard. I was able to dig some drainage ditches to help keep the water from puddling. But the forecast on weather.com does NOT look good.
Wayne is going to call me @ 6:00am and let me know the conditions at his house (close to the track). I plan to make the final call then. Sunday looks much better than Saturday though. As of right now I don't think we will be running until Sunday but we will see.
Check back before you leave!!!
Chris
ccm399 08-19-2006, 06:30 AM Come on out boys and girls we are going to try to get this thing in today!!!! Radar looks ify but what the heck!!!
Chris
scrapheep 08-27-2006, 09:39 PM Bump for the night race.
OK here is the latest updates...we now have 6 out of 8 point races in the books, so the mains on Sept 3 will be for double points and the last race of the season for points.
For those who may plan to attend only on Sunday...you can still race the mains without having to run qualifiers on Saturday night...just have to start at the back of the grids.
The food at the track is excellent...looking forward to hot coffe and breakfast already
scrapheep 09-02-2006, 09:54 AM Due to the wet weather today, we have decided to reschedule the racing for tomorrow Sunday Sept 3.
The new plan is gates open at 4 pm...racing at 6 pm ...when it gets dark we will fire up the lights and keep racing.
We will run the entire race program including mains.
Anyone who still wants to camp out sunday night will be welcome to stay.
