I think these were called first shot. Two cars came together,1 raw casting & 1 finished. There were a few nice cars in this series.

I have the '55 Chevy from that series too. I think I have a '57 Corvette from that series if I remember right.

The first set is a Premiere First Edition released in 1998. Both vehicles came with Goodyear rubber tires. For 2006 the '33 Ford Coupe has been released in a 10-Pack. Matchbox touts it as a Premiere vehicle but it's really just a regular issue with the regular type wheels. Check your Wal*mart. :)
