I agree dean's are the best to work with and last a very long time.
I hard wire on on my 1/12 scale and use the dean's on all my offroad stuff.

i'm getting back into rc, i used to use only (showing my age here) race prep ones but at the time i was gonna switch, those are still around called power poles? now i have some deans and some stockers, just happen to do them all one way, what about 1/18?

I have used Sermos (Black & Reds) connectors for years with no problems, I find them easier to work with than the Deans because they are larger for my big fingers
for the 1/18, deans makes smaller connectors for airplanes. just make a adapter plug for your charger. if you are going to run a bigger motor and lipo battery, i would then use the bigger deans connector.

i use deans in my 1/18. 6 cell 1100-1400 if hooked up to a mod motor can melt the standard micro plug. deans ultra are easy to use and offer a lowwer resistance than most any plug used today.
