June 3rd R/C World & Raceway will be holding an outdoor oval race in the Massena Arena's outdoor skating rink.

the rink floor is asphalt, we will put down some special sauce in the corners fer traction, we did it in the past n had a blast!

classes are... nascar, nastruck, edm gearbox, stadium truck, 1/18th and 1/12th scale. we may race some nitro classes, we will have to see what shows up.

races will start at noon. two heats n the main.

the massena arena is located just off rt 37 in the center of massena ny. massena is one hour west of plattsburgh and one hour and a half from watertown ny.

This Should be One of the best allaround Race you could have.
Junior what should we do you about Tire's, Rubber or Foam?.
I think I'll try Some caps for the fun of it.

I might bring up the edm and try it out.

last time we used foams and there was no problem getting traction, but you can do what you want bro... its definatly what anyone wants to do that seems fair to me.

we have an inboard cam... thats about it for us, it is soo cool to veiw the rcaes from an inboard camera... the speeds compared to full scale are way faster.

there's been some talk at the shop here, sounds like this is gonna be a good event.

You know I can't keep a secret! And I have a big mouth! The donaters name is "Sushi Hara"! He is a japenese oil tycoon. Rumor has it the guy has billions. He made all his money in the fishing business. Tuna I think? Chicken of the sea! Is it chicken or is it fish? Then invested in Oil wells. His latest venture is to support small businesses!. hey jr if you want to try the inboard cam again. We could try it on my stadium truck it would probably handel the weight a little better.

stadium truck for the inboard doesn't sound like a bad idea... that way the viewer would have time to focus. :lol: :D even with a mod... the stadiums are pigs compaired to the fast guy's and thier pancars!!!!
