I have a littel prpblem with my gtx not letting me get full throttle. Someone said that these speedos do not like to run on 4cells without a reciever pack just was wondering if anybody out there heard the same thing . Thanks Ken Boehm

I "Think" I might have had a bad one the last time I ran at Marshall's.....

Mike had a bad one the night he showed up to the Sizzler, and had to swap it out.....

Point is, I usually don't run a reciever pack (Back Then with the heavy Pro3)
But he does run a reciever pack at all times.......

I am NOT by any means a pro (BAR 26 can tell ya that lol) but i put a GTX in my brothers pan car we run 4 cells and he dosnt have that problem.

I wouls always run a speedo with areceiver pack if using 4 cells. Just my personal experience with them. To many funny problems arise due to not having enough voltage to the electrics. It doesn't happen every run but once is to much for me, so run the receiver pack and take some of the 3 onces of lead off the car.

I sent a GTX back to NovaK to get tested I had a similar problem. Novak tested the speedo and said it was fine.I went to a Reciever pack also and don't seem to have any issue's with this....

Receiver packs for 4 cell racing is like getting an imunization shot...you may not need it, but it sure beats getting sick. If your car comes down with "a case of the flats" and won't run fast, and you aren't running a receiver pack, chances are that's your problem.
If you are running a rec. pack and have a case of the flats, better call Dr. Crankenstein. He'll fix what ails ya'... :cool:
