This car I have wanted to make since the first time I saw a 1/43rd version of it. It was driven by Bill Vukovich in 1954 and he won the the Indy 500. I need to get these decals made with a white underlay then I will be able to model the gray one he drove in 52 and 53 and won in 53. I want to redo this version so that the exhaust is all the way at the very bottom so I can add the rear supension torsion bars. I made the driver by combining two different ones that I can make. Speaking of drivers if anyone has some different 1/43 , 1/48 or 1/50th scale I will trade bodiefor ones I can use with the Indy cars
