Has anyone ever seen or made some 1/64 scale concrete road blocks for a diorama before? Ones that look like this (http://images.google.com/imgres?imgurl=http://www.thedailystar.net/2004/01/01/2004-01-01__front01.jpg&imgrefurl=http://www.thedailystar.net/2004/01/01/d4010101011.htm&h=273&w=400&sz=38&tbnid=FeJItGQ0IogYyM:&tbnh=81&tbnw=120&hl=en&start=83&prev=/images%3Fq%3Dconcrete%2Broad%2Bblocks%26start%3D80 %26svnum%3D10%26hl%3Den%26lr%3D%26sa%3DN) in reality. Usually see these on the interstate, on a bridge or in a parking lot.
Perhaps one could make their own out of small blocks of wood in the correct proportion and then paint silver or yellow. If anyone has any info, I'd be glad to hear about it.

Hey crafty, you might want to try making them from bass wood from any craft store. It's fairly easy to work with and all you would have to do is paint them gray afterwards.

Hey, why not use actual concrete mortar mix? It's only $3.50 for 60lbs. It's got a very fine grain, unlike regular concrete. Then, you can make a mold for them out of wood.

Nice idea Mike.
You could also build them out of sheet styrene, found in any hobby shop.

I considered this as i used some in the basement to repair some cracks on the walls. My only concern is the mess and the fact that i don't need a lot of material, at least in theory. Your thinking anyway, and that is a trait i can admire in anyone!

Those road dividers have always been called "Jersey Barriers" as long as I can recall...
