We had the line and I wanted it more ............ roadhog......... OvalmanPA 10-29-2004, 06:55 PM Can ya feel the love in the room tonight? canbquik 10-29-2004, 07:57 PM just a heads up, just spoke with Greg, and he said " looks like a go for this sat. (NOV.6TH) " It will be at the same building as last year, but on the opposite side. All classes will run, including mini-t ( as far as I know). hope to see all there, Chris OvalmanPA 10-30-2004, 08:54 PM A little more info would be nice there Bigguy. :) Time doors open? Time racing starts? I'll definitly be there but just want to know what time we have to leave because we're also planning to go into Jamestown and go to the Sysco outlet before going to the track. canbquik 10-31-2004, 10:51 AM open for practice @ 12:30-1:00 and the racing action starts @ 4:00-4:30. sorry for the lack of info. go to www.jjgun.com/jjgun/Bulldog/RC%20Main.htm (http://www.jjgun.com/jjgun/Bulldog/RC%20Main.htm) for the class rules for Jamestown and also Bulldog r/c in Erie, PA. Chris:thumbsup: OvalmanPA 10-31-2004, 01:11 PM That's better. :) See you there. Your wife mentioned you were going up with Donalbain? K1M was up here the other night with a new toy. I tell ya, he finds all the deals! johnqpublic 10-31-2004, 05:54 PM So who all from these here parts is goin? EvaderAndy 10-31-2004, 08:47 PM I'm not after my parts I broke in 2 seconds At least till I stock up on parts with Ricks 5% off of parts on hand. canbquik 10-31-2004, 09:08 PM yes, johnqpublic, we have a new 'fish' in the 2wd pond, right Mister Fortner!! johnqpublic 10-31-2004, 10:15 PM I saw some top secret photos the other day. Does Mr. Donalbain have some new equipment too?? OvalmanPA 11-02-2004, 07:27 PM Mr. Donalbain is probably pissed at Mr. K1M after he was the one looking for a Terminator and Kim walked into a deal. Anybody have an MIP1016 LXT/GTX ball bearing steering kit they wanna part with? :) canbquik 11-02-2004, 08:12 PM LET ME LOOK........ Sugar Daddy 11-02-2004, 08:23 PM I know that Steve had one. I tried getting it but he said that he wasn't interested in selling it at that time. He might of changed his mind by now. canbquik 11-02-2004, 09:54 PM Nada Gotta......:( k1m 11-03-2004, 12:14 AM yes, johnqpublic, we have a new 'fish' in the 2wd pond, right Mister Fortner!! My ears were ringing so I checked here....I might have known.... ;) Yeap, I'm hoping to enter the water with you guys in an EDM class pretty soon. No secret though, I was fortunate enough to pick up an older style Terminator and with help from CanBquick and JohnQ hope to get it all together very soon. Don't think it's gonna be ready this weekend though. Even if I do get CVD's and tires this week, I'll still need to spew some paint on the CDK mudbus body. I'm really not in a hurry anyway, having too much fun building which I'm probably alot better at than driving. :freak: OvalmanPA 11-03-2004, 02:31 PM I know that Steve had one. I tried getting it but he said that he wasn't interested in selling it at that time. He might of changed his mind by now. Talked to El Guapo yesterday. He's got a couple sets of the stock ones but they are all on vehicles. :) I told him before I swiped one off one of his cars I'd check around some more. K1M.....so how'd the tranny look when you opened 'er up? OvalmanPA 11-07-2004, 08:57 PM Two more weeks before the first day of racing! Just got the newest version of Autoscore with database/series added so entry should be a less time consuming deal now. It seems to be a nice addition for $100. :) Made another road trip Saturday. This time to Craft World's track in Falconer. It's a pretty long track and they had some things I didn't particulary like but overall it was a good time. Canbquik, Mr. and Mrs. SPC, Donalbain, and Johnqpublic were in da house to do some racing. I don't really remember how everybody else did but I know Mrs. SPC smoked me in Mod truck. :) Still say she shoulda had that bad luck in the main. :jest: I do know Canbquick and Donalbain had some bad stuff happen to them in practice before the mains. Word of warning...........always look for the guy on the drivers stand with the yellow flag on the antenna and avoid practicing then. LOL Of course, little green Evaders are dangerous too!! SPC 11-08-2004, 09:45 AM Yes, great racing Saturday evening! I think the new rules are a little excessive and may actually do more harm (turning racers away) than good. Practice was definitley the most dangerous time to be on the track. But the good points; large track, great people to race with and lots of fun! :) Thunder Valley 11-09-2004, 01:53 AM If you have good racing, they will come. OvalmanPA 11-09-2004, 07:19 PM Moving day is probably going to be Sunday from the looks of it. I'll be cleaning on Thursday and Friday so I'll let everyone know on Thursday evening how much help we'll need. From the sounds of it there isn't going to be much to move so things might go fast. johnqpublic 11-11-2004, 07:39 AM Same crew goin this week? SPC 11-11-2004, 08:54 AM Yes, we will be there! OvalmanPA 11-11-2004, 07:00 PM Sorry but I won't be going this week. Let me know how many mod trucks are running before I make another trip up. Besides that I have a bunch of stuff to do before next weekend. Jcook 11-12-2004, 09:25 AM Besides that I have a bunch of stuff to do before next weekend. I take it you had enough people to setup the track? OvalmanPA 11-12-2004, 07:42 PM Sorry guys, I forgot to post last night. It looks as though there really isn't going to be much to do as far as needing help but THANK YOU VERY MUCH for the offers of help! We don't have many things to take out of the center and my Bro' said we could get things on the trailer here so we'll see everybody on the 20th for the swap meet. johnqpublic 11-13-2004, 10:21 AM Sorry but I won't be going this week. Let me know how many mod trucks are running before I make another trip up. Besides that I have a bunch of stuff to do before next weekend. There'd be one more mod tuk if you went...LOL!!! Anyone going be sure to bring your EDM cars...I know a couple of guys from Rochester & Buffalo that are coming down with them. Between them, Mr. Burrows, and myself there will be at least 4. OvalmanPA 11-13-2004, 08:59 PM Yes there would but if I drive 1:30 and then can't run because there are only three trucks I'm gonna be  . Look at it this way, if you wouldn'ta bought that pancar you woulda been screwed last week. :p I guess it's just one of the things I don't agree with is all. It's the way Greg wants to do it and it's his track so I have no say in it myself. :) johnqpublic 11-14-2004, 08:33 AM Actually I dont think they ran a mod tuk class....dont you have a regular tuk you could bring too?? BTW...do you have any RTR t4s at the shop....I have a friend who wants to become an RC newbie! I think we have him convinced that tuks are the best way to get started in this area. Knoxville 11-14-2004, 12:06 PM hey ovalman, i was wondering if you have any differental gears for a mini-t i need some bad!!! let me know thanks :) OvalmanPA 11-14-2004, 08:00 PM I don't have any "tuks" wise guy, I have TRUCKS. Actually I do have a XXXTMF but it's dirt only. I don't want to take the time to make it carpetworthy........I'm lazy. lol Don't have any T4s here but I could have one in a week. I do have a RTR XXXT however if he's interested. knoxville.......I'm t h i n k i n g yea but let me check tomorrow and I'll email you, ok. OvalmanPA 11-14-2004, 08:11 PM Rolled out the new carpet today. Looks like it might be a little "rough" to start unless I can get it smoothed out. Why in the world they wouldn't put a cardboard carpet roll in the middle is beyond me because it came out pretty oval shaped. Still battling the dreaded concrete lip that is under a certain section of the carpet but we'll see what I can do. This stuff is N I C E! :) johnqpublic 11-14-2004, 08:12 PM Uhhh...I'll call you tomorrow. He's pretty revved up...if he could have bought something last night, I'm sure he would have! OvalmanPA 11-14-2004, 08:35 PM Paul......I'll only be here till about 12:00 because I'm going to be at the track tomorrow afternoon and most afternoons this week. If he'd rather have the T4 let me know before noon because I'll be ordering then. The T4 would be $230 and the XXXT would be $260 - the 5% discount I'm offering on all in stock items in Nov. and Dec. knoxville.......I have the differential gear setup here at the shop. $3.00 is the price. Like I said before though, I won't be at the shop most afternoons this week but if you let me know I could take one of them down with me and you could pick it up there. Knoxville 11-14-2004, 10:16 PM Ovalman that would be great if u could take it down with u but i dont know exactly where the building is that u race at but if u could help me out alittle bit im sure i could find it! what time do u think u will be there tommorrow around 1or2?? one more thing do u have any of the duratrax powerpole connectors i need 7 of them if u have that many that would be great i dont like the connectors i have they are a pain in the @$$ let me know thanks  OvalmanPA 11-15-2004, 07:29 PM Obviously you found the place today. :) On raceday you might want to come in at the other end of the building however because we usually have pipes laying in that hallway for the road course. Sure did smell like new carpet when I got down there today!! Polli 11-16-2004, 12:30 AM mmmmmmmmmmm, new carpet, Yummy :) EvaderAndy 11-16-2004, 08:02 AM There you are Polli are you still going to run touring car? how about you SPC? Jcook 11-16-2004, 10:18 AM Paul......I'll only be here till about 12:00 because I'm going to be at the track tomorrow afternoon and most afternoons this week. Rick you said your gonna be @ the track most days this week?..or evenings also? OvalmanPA 11-16-2004, 07:31 PM Polli's a carpet muncher.  Polli 11-17-2004, 02:12 AM As long as it's not too shaggy, I dont like to get stuck  aint got enuff traction compound to go around  lol I do plan on doin some "carpet munchin" this season.I just dont know when and/or how often; my funds are tighter than a German virgin at the moment :( Todd S 11-17-2004, 06:11 PM thats kinda tight buddy OvalmanPA 11-17-2004, 07:17 PM Boy it's funny what finally brings you guys outta the woodwork. I guess I gotta be crude more often. :p Of course then again.............that's about all the farther we better go with this. Looks like we're going to be starting the season with a few "ripples" in the carpet. The dang stuff just ain't co-operating as far as getting laid out flat. :( Polli 11-18-2004, 04:06 AM Omg, I better leave this one alone, But Rick, you said "laid" heh heh, heh heh(in a Beavis impersonation) SPC 11-18-2004, 09:57 AM I'm planning on testing the "ripples" on Sunday. I was going to bring the 1/12th but I'll probably try the TC3 instead. OvalmanPA 11-20-2004, 02:01 PM Set up the new road course yesterday. We can do things a little different now since the track is rectangle shaped so I think it's going to be a fun course.
