Yeap, I'm hoping to enter the water with you guys in an EDM class pretty soon. No secret though, I was fortunate enough to pick up an older style Terminator and with help from CanBquick and JohnQ hope to get it all together very soon. Don't think it's gonna be ready this weekend though. Even if I do get CVD's and tires this week, I'll still need to spew some paint on the CDK mudbus body. I'm really not in a hurry anyway, having too much fun building which I'm probably alot better at than driving. :freak:

Two more weeks before the first day of racing! Just got the newest version of Autoscore with database/series added so entry should be a less time consuming deal now. It seems to be a nice addition for $100. :)

Made another road trip Saturday. This time to Craft World's track in Falconer. It's a pretty long track and they had some things I didn't particulary like but overall it was a good time. Canbquik, Mr. and Mrs. SPC, Donalbain, and Johnqpublic were in da house to do some racing. I don't really remember how everybody else did but I know Mrs. SPC smoked me in Mod truck. :) Still say she shoulda had that bad luck in the main. :jest: I do know Canbquick and Donalbain had some bad stuff happen to them in practice before the mains. Word of warning...........always look for the guy on the drivers stand with the yellow flag on the antenna and avoid practicing then. LOL Of course, little green Evaders are dangerous too!!

Yes, great racing Saturday evening! I think the new rules are a little excessive and may actually do more harm (turning racers away) than good. Practice was definitley the most dangerous time to be on the track. But the good points; large track, great people to race with and lots of fun! :)

If you have good racing, they will come.

Moving day is probably going to be Sunday from the looks of it. I'll be cleaning on Thursday and Friday so I'll let everyone know on Thursday evening how much help we'll need. From the sounds of it there isn't going to be much to move so things might go fast.

Yes there would but if I drive 1:30 and then can't run because there are only three trucks I'm gonna be :mad: . Look at it this way, if you wouldn'ta bought that pancar you woulda been screwed last week. :p I guess it's just one of the things I don't agree with is all. It's the way Greg wants to do it and it's his track so I have no say in it myself. :)

Actually I dont think they ran a mod tuk class....dont you have a regular tuk you could bring too??

BTW...do you have any RTR t4s at the shop....I have a friend who wants to become an RC newbie! I think we have him convinced that tuks are the best way to get started in this area.

I don't have any "tuks" wise guy, I have TRUCKS. :lol: Actually I do have a XXXTMF but it's dirt only. I don't want to take the time to make it carpetworthy........I'm lazy. lol Don't have any T4s here but I could have one in a week. I do have a RTR XXXT however if he's interested. :thumbsup:

Rolled out the new carpet today. Looks like it might be a little "rough" to start unless I can get it smoothed out. Why in the world they wouldn't put a cardboard carpet roll in the middle is beyond me because it came out pretty oval shaped. :rolleyes: Still battling the dreaded concrete lip that is under a certain section of the carpet but we'll see what I can do. This stuff is N I C E! :)

Obviously you found the place today. :) On raceday you might want to come in at the other end of the building however because we usually have pipes laying in that hallway for the road course.

Looks like we're going to be starting the season with a few "ripples" in the carpet. The dang stuff just ain't co-operating as far as getting laid out flat. :(

I'm planning on testing the "ripples" on Sunday. I was going to bring the 1/12th but I'll probably try the TC3 instead.

Set up the new road course yesterday. We can do things a little different now since the track is rectangle shaped so I think it's going to be a fun course. See everyone tonight!
