It's a good thing that I changed my name. I no longer own a savage. I had to sell it so I can pay a couple bills. :( I hope that I can save enough money by next spring to get another one to race.

Sugar Daddy 10-01-2003, 01:32 PM It's a good thing that I changed my name. I no longer own a savage. I had to sell it so I can pay a couple bills. :( I hope that I can save enough money by next spring to get another one to race. rpmduc 10-01-2003, 11:27 PM im coming to the area to visit and wanted to know when you race and some of the classes that are run. i will be in the area oct.9-12 and would like to race there. any info would be grewatly apprec. rpmduc Polli 10-01-2003, 11:52 PM Suger D! ya get that thing runnin yet? Sorry rpmduc, ya just missed dirt season. I'm gonna hope to head up to the track on saturday's and maybe sunday's this month. I gotta set up and dial in a radio and esc. So if your lookin for someone to run w while your in the area .... Sugar Daddy 10-02-2003, 12:08 AM Yup, it's running. I took my esc and motor out of my LXT and put them in the buggy for now. If the weather is any good on friday, I might go over and see how it does. OvalmanPA 10-02-2003, 01:04 PM rpmduc......like Polli said, sorry but we are done with our outdoor season and from the looks of it just in time as the weather has been terrible this week. If you'd like to stop by and run a few practice laps however, you are more than welcome to! Sugar D.......I sure hope you got close to what that beast was worth! :freak: Sorry you had to part with your favorite toy though. From the sounds of things the track won't be in much of a running shape till next week sometime. You guys don't realize just how glad I am to have gotten that race in last week. OvalmanPA 10-02-2003, 01:57 PM Sugar Daddy and anyone else that has a XX/XXX buggy. This is the place I was telling you about that has "direct fit" pre mounted wheels/foams. Click here (http://www.tm-rc-racingcomponents.com) There are a few guys in the oval section here that swear by TMs tires so I just thought I'd pass it along since some of you might want to try them. rpmduc 10-02-2003, 07:58 PM Pollie, I saw the pics. on the net that showed an indoor carpet track as well. Is it up and running elec. touring yet? that is what I'd like to do when I come up. Haven't done much touring(elec.)that is. All of my oval stuff is out of date for here, if you know anyone looking for an L3. rpmduc OvalmanPA 10-02-2003, 09:24 PM rpmduc......sorry, can't help you there either. :( We don't start our indoor season until November. Unfortunately we've never had a very good TC turnout either. :( Polli 10-02-2003, 11:53 PM I have a brand spankin new XXX-S graphite waiting for some carpet.....So if anyone else out there has a touring car maybe we can revitalize the class?! I'd be happy just making left turns w the thing. I'm still gonna bring it, just to see if I can break it. Rick I dunno when I'm gonna be up next to grab that check book. Both me and the missus are now using our thumbs for transportation And Sugar D... I took out the 9304 and put that JR servo in my triple xand I like it enuff to keep it there. Not that the 9304 is much slower, just that the z590m matches OvalmanPA 10-03-2003, 01:14 PM Polli...........uh oh, Tracker lettin' ya down huh? That checkbook'll be here whenever you make it over. Sugar D........if your gonna practice you better get it done! A couple small puddles is all I think and they can be easily swept off. Track looks surprisingly good for the rain we've had the last few days. Polli 10-03-2003, 01:43 PM Rick Don't let "HER" hear ya say that, It's a SIDEKICK. Yea Sidekick right in the *?#! OvalmanPA 10-03-2003, 07:45 PM Whoops.........SIDEKICK. :) scoutout02 10-05-2003, 10:35 AM Rick... did anyone get there check from the fair assc. ? I never herd another word about it... or did i misunderstand? And one more thing, whats the lenghth of your shocks (extended) on your nitro evader? I think i'm gonna try and come up with a hybrid for next year. OvalmanPA 10-05-2003, 11:40 AM Todd.....they don't come out till sometime in October so if you'll be getting one it'll be sometime this month. I'll have to check the shock length tomorrow though. scoutout02 10-06-2003, 03:36 PM Thanks Rick. OvalmanPA 10-06-2003, 06:39 PM SHOOT! OvalmanPA 10-08-2003, 03:00 PM Shaun........no problem and the track is pretty darn dry right now. Yep I knew that was the guy from Warren. EvaderAndy 10-08-2003, 07:36 PM hey rick could i run this next off-road season or is it unfair OvalmanPA 10-08-2003, 08:41 PM Whatever trips your trigger. I take it, it was Fox's night at the Eaton household? :jest: EvaderAndy 10-08-2003, 09:37 PM Whatever trips your trigger. I take it, it was Fox's night at the Eaton household? :jest: how did you know  btw rick did you get my dads phone message? OvalmanPA 10-09-2003, 12:34 PM how did you know  btw rick did you get my dads phone message? Kinda looked like you guys were cartin' pizzas. :) Yea I got the phone message. I'll get the Deans speed jig. It's about the best available but still doesn't cost a fortune. If you guys are planning to do 3300s however you'll need to dremel the jig a little because I don't think there is a jig made to work well with those cells without some modification. :( OvalmanPA 10-09-2003, 01:21 PM Sugar D........when you come over tomorrow, better wait till the afternoon because I have to be at the Dr. in the morning but should be back by noonish. BlueIceMaxx 10-10-2003, 04:33 PM Ut oh guys...guess who's gettin an E-Maxx. Sugar Daddy 10-10-2003, 05:17 PM Anybody know the part number for a 0* pivot block for the XXX? Or any way of making mine 0*. I think that it would be better for speed and wear on tires if the back-end was 0*. I don't think that the 3* toe-in is needed on carpet. Sugar Daddy 10-10-2003, 08:25 PM Hey Rick... here is that video of the savage on 2 wheels. Video (http://mysite.verizon.net/vze532tc/savage.mov) OvalmanPA 10-10-2003, 09:23 PM Sugar D.......nobody makes a 0 degree that I've found.........but.....you can get some of the hubs made for the XXX-NT and put them in backward (opposite sides than they are made for). This in effect lessens or removes the rear toe. I can't remember the part numbers without looking at Losis' site though. EvaderAndy 10-11-2003, 01:20 AM does any one know where you can find cvds for the center shafts for a maxx? I found it once but forgot where I found it. and I bet trashedmaxx would like to know to right? trashedmaxx 10-11-2003, 10:18 AM the part # mip 1495 i just bought some from stormer a few weeks ago heres a link https://www.ssl-stormerhobbies.com/cgi-bin/seekpart.pl?pn=MIP1495 and here are the ue centers https://www.ssl-stormerhobbies.com/cgi-bin/seekpart.pl?pn=UE13513T OvalmanPA 10-11-2003, 12:41 PM Anybody that should be getting a check from the Fair race. They are available at the Fair office. If you would like us to pick them up for you, please let me know. We do not have a time frame on when they will be mailed out if you don't pick them up or have us do so. Just an FYI. :) Sugar Daddy 10-11-2003, 10:26 PM Hey Rick, if you could pick mine up, that would be great. I can't get away from the boss's whip at the moment. OvalmanPA 10-12-2003, 08:04 PM Will do Boss. Sugar Daddy 10-12-2003, 10:15 PM Yup, I'm bored!
