EvaderAndy 09-05-2003, 11:40 AM thank you K1m forgot about in seres maxx is back running Ray EvaderAndy 09-05-2003, 03:45 PM yeah thanks kim even though I can't read what my dad wrote all I know is that there was a note on my maxx when i got home that said all done. I guess he figured it out for his 4 clock. thanks K1m for the tips i fugured i'd have to wait awhile till i could get another ESC but the maxx is now coming sunday. I was hoping not to miss it. I think it's way more fun than production. Production's cool but it's competive and maxx is just plan fun like BRP  Savage21 09-05-2003, 04:02 PM Yeah! I get to have my butt kicked sunday! My savage is not running right now. (Thanks to all those money hungry jerks online!) But I do get to try out my luck in stock truck. Just take it easy on me guys. Just to show you how much I know about electric trucks, I thought I had a XXT, nope, I have a LXT. Hey Rick, that paper I told you about, it's from a company called: Invent it! It's thier clear decal paper. They are the ones that make the glossy decal paper also. Savage21 09-05-2003, 04:30 PM Rick, I just got done checking my turnbuckles. They are all 1 7/8". I thought that there was 2 different sizes. What would it cost for a set? OvalmanPA 09-05-2003, 08:36 PM Shaun........thanks for the info on the sticker stuff. I'll tell you what, I'd sell you a set of six 1-7/8" Lunsfords for $20.00. Let me know if you want me to order them. Savage21 09-05-2003, 08:44 PM Yeah, go ahead and order them. When will they be in? OvalmanPA 09-05-2003, 09:14 PM I'll order Monday, will be here following Monday. Savage21 09-06-2003, 06:04 PM Well..... after a little voodoo chanting, a virgin sacrifice( ;) ), and a little foul language, my savage might be able to run tomorrow! I don't know what I did, but my one way started to work again. I just hope it holds till a replacement can be found. OvalmanPA 09-06-2003, 07:31 PM Cool, this mean you're not going to break into the Stock truck class this week though? Savage21 09-06-2003, 07:55 PM I'm going to try to run both. That is if the fixed one way holds. EvaderAndy 09-06-2003, 08:27 PM hey rick my friend coty is coming this weekend and needs/wants to run the track truck. & is it still 8$? El Guapo 09-07-2003, 10:16 PM Hey Sav21-- get the pics loaded from our boating incident? Just curious how they came out. Savage21 09-07-2003, 10:22 PM They didn't turn out. The boats were going to fast. All you see is red blurs going past the screen. And the movies were the same way. Next time you will have to slow down a little! Hey Rick... don't order me turnbuckles. I looked on ebay and got a set plus hinge pins for $20. OvalmanPA 09-08-2003, 02:22 PM Great day for a race with beautiful skys and plenty of people to enjoy the fun. Turnout continues to hold at right around 17 every week so I'm happy. Only three weeks remain to "get it done in the dirt". I guess I'll just have six 1-7/8" turnbuckles here if anybody needs them. Savage21 09-08-2003, 11:19 PM That's Ok, It's a good thing that you did order them. The guy from ebay sent me an email saying that he messed up when he set the auction up. The price was supposed to be $40, not $20. He said that he would sell them to me for that price, not the auction price that I won them for! I just sent him an email saying just "No". So I guess I will still be getting the turnbuckles from you. And El Guapo, I will be able to come over weds. I thought that I had to work nights, but I have day shift then. Let me know when you can make it, I have to work untill 4:30, I can be there just after 5 if I hustle. El Guapo 09-09-2003, 08:19 AM Sav21-- might not be able to be there Wednesday. I have to get to Olean on Wed. after 5:30, so far, but I'll know more by tonite. OvalmanPA 09-09-2003, 01:47 PM Shaun.......I think I'd argue with the guy or at least leave him negative feedback. Of course it depends how long the auction had been going on too. If it had just started I'd say it would have been hard to correct but if it had been going on for a couple days then it's the guys loss since he wasn't paying attention to what he was doing. Oh btw, I have a "stock" 2" turnbuckle you can use till the others come. It's one off a XXT and they are buttery soft so don't hit anything. :) Polli.....your XXCR body and wing are here. I ordered your XXX body yesterday so it'll come next week. Savage21 09-09-2003, 02:08 PM I got a turnbuckle off of Kim to use for now. I'll keep yours in mind just incase! As far as the auction, it started 2 days before I saw it. I Went back to give negative feedback, but I can't find the auction again. He must of completely removed it. OvalmanPA 09-09-2003, 08:31 PM That's unusal. Try going to your "my eBay" and if you used a buy it now option it should be listed under there to go to the auction. Savage21 09-09-2003, 11:12 PM I tried that. I also tried the link in the email from ebay saying I won and all it does is take me to a page on ebay saying invaid link. OvalmanPA 09-10-2003, 04:32 PM Hmmmm, that's odd to get it completely removed. Must be the guy didn't want any trace of evidence left huh? :) Savage21 09-12-2003, 06:27 PM I was looking around and found this! It's a vid of the new mini-T truck from Losi. I don't think that I'm the only one getting one of these. Video (http://www.teamlosi.com/Videos/minit3.wmv) El Guapo 09-12-2003, 09:09 PM Hey Sav 21-- Is your Savage back up and running? I just got my Crusher back together and hopefully will be able to run ya on Sunday (If No Rain). If not, let me know and I'll bring something for stock truck in place of Nitro. Savage21 09-12-2003, 09:12 PM Yup, she's running. Put a new one way in, plus new turnbuckle ends. Now I can start it AND steer it! El Guapo 09-12-2003, 09:34 PM Well, I guess I'd better get everything set with the Crusher so I can pile it up again. trashedmaxx 09-13-2003, 06:55 AM I was looking around and found this! It's a vid of the new mini-T truck from Losi. I don't think that I'm the only one getting one of these. I'm going to ask the wife for one of those for christmas, maybe rick will start up a class for them next year. Hey rick i was wonding if you have any dynamite(or any brand) aluminium servo horns for jr servo's? OvalmanPA 09-13-2003, 12:48 PM No time right now but I'll have to check that video out. Horizon has the Mini-T listed now but I dunno if I'll be able to order them yet, I'll have to see. Let's see a show of hands. How many do I order? Mike.....class is already being talked about for our indoor season as well as cutting the track down for outdoor class next year. Sorry, no alum servo horns. :( Savage21 09-13-2003, 02:26 PM I'll take one!!!!! If you can order by color, I'll take a blue or red. OvalmanPA 09-13-2003, 06:04 PM Looks like there is only one part # so it seems like it's gonna be a crap shoot as to which color ya get. I'll probably order 6 off the bat so there otta be a couple of red or blues available. trashedmaxx 09-14-2003, 03:10 AM Mike.....class is already being talked about for our indoor season as well as cutting the track down for outdoor class next year. And just how are we supposed to get foams for that LOL OvalmanPA 09-14-2003, 08:25 PM You won't want foams with jumps. :) OvalmanPA 09-14-2003, 09:48 PM A great day of racing at RER/CR&H this week. Day was pretty cloudy but the rain held off until we were completed, even taking down the computer equipment! A couple new records to report. First to fall was the Stock truck record as Tom himes posted a run two seconds faster than his previous time. The record now stands at 11/4:20.67. The other record was by yours truely in the Electric Maxx class. Never did I think I (or anyone) could outdue my 10/4:10 run of last week but I managed to click off a 10/4:08.27 in the second qualifier to post the new record. I was also on a 10/4:08 run in the first qualifier but a slight brain fart screwed that one up. I'm predicting that this record will stand up for the final two races of the year but you never know. :) Only two races remain in the off road season before we take a break to prepare for carpet racing. Hope to see everyone there! In my haste last night I forgot to mention something. How about that Stock truck main?!?! Five out of six with 10 laps! Talk about some fast racing. Now we just gotta get Carpetburner running faster. :) Polli 09-16-2003, 02:45 AM Hello All!!! I finally got my internet back today, sorry I havn't been racing the last couple of weeks, it's a long story. I plan on making it the last 2 though, got a new triple x(well new to me) to break in. Rick did that phobia body and wing arrive yet? and do you happen to have a pair of front stub axles? (A-9952) they don't have to be blue OvalmanPA 09-16-2003, 01:52 PM Polli.....The Phobia body did come on Monday so it's here and waiting. I don't have part #A-9952 but I do have A-1133 which are the stock (non blue) XXX stub axles and screws. Shaun......Your LXT camber rods and gear cover came yesterday too. Polli 09-17-2003, 12:15 AM Kool thanks Rick, hopefully I'll be up to get the body and stub axles thursday or friday. Do you happen to know of anything on the market that dissolves thread lock? That is the reason why I need new stub axles, because there was so much threadlock on the screws that I snapped the heads off when I was doing some routine maintenance on the axle's bearings OvalmanPA 09-17-2003, 01:30 PM HOLY CRUMBS! Snapped the heads before the threadlocker broke loose? Somebody definitly didn't want things coming apart huh? lol I dunno anything that dissolves it but maybe somebody else does. I'm thinking the stockers come with a li'l thread locker on them anyway so I dunno if I'd put anymore on? Anyone for practice tonight, Savage21? El Guapo? Others? Savage21 09-17-2003, 02:32 PM Not me. I have to work. That is unless I call in dead, but I already did that last week. (I don't think that they would believe me again!) Savage21 09-17-2003, 02:58 PM I almost forgot! The only way that I know of getting threadlocker loose is to heat it. I had to do that with a couple screws on the savage. k1m 09-17-2003, 03:41 PM Savage has the right idea, heat is the way to make the high strength threadlock come loose. Someone probably used the wrong kind.....blue threadlock is what you want to use....the red stuff is the industrial strength that needs to be heated to make it let go. Also, threadlock is meant only for metal to metal use, in fact it will dissolve some plastics like ABS. OvalmanPA 09-17-2003, 10:18 PM HAHAHA......I never noticed that you can put a reason in for why you edited! That's classic. Carpetburner and I have now entered the world of nitro, have the broken finger blister to prove it too! After a bit of a rough beginning, we seem to have things working pretty well now. Things still need a little work but boy are they fun! Shaun........you shoulda tried it again, tell them you were wrong the first time. Savage21 09-17-2003, 11:53 PM Hey Rick, can I stop by thurs night to get my stuff? I don't get off work untill 5:30, I can be there by 6. Let me know. If not, I'll stop by friday. Polli 09-18-2003, 01:14 AM yea, I'd say the previous owner of my triple x definately didn't want the axle screw coming loose from the stub axle. He had the screws coated with blue thread locker from where the wheel mates up flush on the stub axle, all the way to the head of the screw. I had loosened it just enuff to get too much slop when the screw broke. So there I was, SKREWED. I think your right, Rick about the stockers coming w a lil bit of lock, I'll use cheap superglue if I absolutely must use a locker. It holds, but breaks loose easy enuff. Nothing worse than a stuck screw Polli 09-18-2003, 01:21 AM Oh yea, anyone know much about air brushes? I bought this 80$ Badger kit, used it once it was fine. Tried to use it the other night to paint the excelerator body on the dublex (dubble x), and the damn thing blew liquid mask all over my hand. I tried cleaning the hell out of it, but still the same deal. Any ideas? OvalmanPA 09-18-2003, 03:22 PM Well how did you get hell in it in the first place? :jest: I'd say completely disassemble it and see if there is any gunk left in it somewhere if you haven't already. Sounds like the spray nozzle is probably clogged. Polli 09-19-2003, 02:21 AM LOL :) Alot of cramming. Hell is pretty big from what I hear. I stripped it down as far as I could. I dunno, it looks almost brand new. It just doesn't act like it. Savage21 09-19-2003, 07:49 PM Hey Andy, show this link to your mom. She wants to use this paint mask on her car. paint mask (http://www.parmapse.com/rcitem.asp?n=10808) EvaderAndy 09-19-2003, 08:18 PM    vBulletin® v3.8.7, Copyright ©2000-2012, vBulletin Solutions, Inc.
