Yeah but I just found out that my mom is going to Texas and my dad is gone to pittsburgh for training on his new job so i'm kinda screwed. :mad: It'll be another week or so until I can make it down. I should have my engine broken in and tuned correctly by then. And my friend should be able to come down also. Hye ovalman...how much is it to race in the t-maxx class?

BlueIceMaxx.......the shocks are a set of 8 Losi threaded style and will sell for $70. I have silver too if that's what you'd prefer. Tried getting blue, purple, and silver but the purples were out of stock AGAIN. :mad: It's $8 to race your first class here, $4 for your second, and $2 for each thereafter. Trashedmaxx didn't make it down today for racing. Sure was a good day for racing too, beautiful day for racing even. :)

Another BEAUTIFUL day for some off road racing and another great crowd was on hand. Absent again this week was one of our elephant racers, canbquik. Where are you man? Have you been abducted by aliens? Send us a smoke signal or something. :jest: Only one new record this week, maybe things are slowing down a little. Justin Johnson entered the Stock buggy class for the first time and decsimated the old record by two laps posting a new record of 11/4:24.52. I don't imagine you stock guys will have to worry about him now though because word is he'll be running Mod buggy and a new class about to start, 4WD buggy. Two weeks till the mid season double points, double racer bucks race so everybody should be getting things tuned to perfection and ready to go. See everybody again next week.

Well, I had a very good practice today! I would have to say that the hop-ups are worth the money that I spent. Now if I can just get my driving skills in order, I'll be set. See ya sunday! :lol:

the next time i come my maxx will hopefully be jumpable instead of a nose diver I had the stock red springs and put those on the back so I have what tom h calls slower lower rebound. and thanks K1m for the tip on the shaft covers.

Would anyone happen to have pictures from the tmaxx class? Doesn't have to be from last week but anytime.

A close inspection of my emaxx revealed some damage from last weeks elephant race. Looks like I need a new lower A arm Ovalman, I think part # 5132 (X?). My hinge pin was bent also but it straightened out fine, looks like bulkhead is ok.

Anybody have a spare 2.5 wide A arm I can borrow until new ones come in?

I'd be glad to bring a sledgehammer, Ovalman and pound those %$#@^ pins down alittle more so they don't stick up. I know, you're not supposed to drive ON the pipes, but it happens! :roll:

I'm not a fan of those pins either! I went and picked up an aluminum center skid plate for the savage. I don't want to smash my tranny or brake. By the way, I'm selling my RC10GT if anyone is interested. I'll bring it this sunday. It's only a few months old, comes with AE .15, radio, 2 sets of tires and a couple extra parts. I have all the boxes and manuals. Asking $250 or best offer. I'll try to get some pics of the T-Maxx races. I have to find someone to use my camera because I'll be busy racing at the time. I'll post them here if I get any.

Hey Savage I MIGHT be comming down this sunday...I cant run my truck though...need to break in the engine yet. I'll bring my digi cam and my friend will bring his Mini DV Video Camera and hopefully i'll be able to upload some vids of the races to my webspace. :thumbsup:

BlueIceMaxx.......I was fixin to get some pictures of all the classes last week until my bats dumped in my digital camera during the stock buggy main. :mad: I'm planning a little camcorder action this week if I can make it. Racing two classes and running the computer when needed is kind of time consuming unfortunatley. lol

k1m.....three sets of lower arms and two sets of upper arms should be here Monday. Won't help you this week unfortunately. :( I'm going to get those pins hammered in a little bit more maybe tomorrow if it drys out some. You are right too, supposed to stay OFF the pipes. :D

trashedmaxx......I'm guessing you answered your own questions today. lol Dean was kind of down because he didn't figure anyone else would be here with 1/8 scale so he left it at home. :( No shock rebuild kit and if you visited the shop, we have several 540 motors in stock as I'm sure you found out or at least I hope you found what you were looking for?

Joy Fortner firmly planted herself at the top of the Production record sheets with a run of 9/4:07.75 to overtake the long held record of Andy Eaton. Gotta come back and try to retake it Andy. :) Next week is double points week so everybody better be ready to make a good run. :thumbsup:

Boy has it been a fun couple days. :rolleyes: Lost our electric about three minutes after my last post and just got it back about 8:00 last night. We have had SEVERAL hard rains and the track needs some work but I hope to have it ready for this weekend.

Any of you nitro guys that don't have a temp gauge yet and would like a pretty good one for low $$$$ should stop by. I just got an order of 10 Pro Exotic temp guns in and they're $35. A pretty good investment to see how that engine is running. :)

Yeah, we had a little "weather" here in Kane as well. As you can see, I was great kite flying weather! We had plenty of wind for it!

I just took a look at some T-Maxx wheels and tires. Bowties, mounted and glued, for 35 bucks. Sound good for racing on the Terra Crusher this week? :rolleyes:

I recommend the Pro-line bow ties. I have them on my savage and I love them. They work so well, they make it look like I know how to race.

I went to the swap and sell and sent this dude an e-mail about the tires, but who knows when I'll get a reply.
I went to Rick's today and picked up a new body. The temp guages he has are nice, but I got one from Radio Smak at the sale price like you have. Works sweet!! I think my crusher should run a little better. :devil:

Well it started out as a pretty good day of racing, clouds so the track stayed damp. We got two qualifiers in and then all hell broke loose as we had everybody searching for the rubber duckies and swim fins. :lol: The winners were listed as the TQs for each class. As if it wasn't bad enough before, now we have even more areas to fix. :rolleyes: Hope we have a few days this week that aren't POURING so we can get some work done. See everyone next week!

Oh yes, I screwed up. :o Last week should have been the double points/double racers bucks week so the points have now been adjusted and those that were there this week received their other racer bucks. I figured this was the most fair way of doing things in the end. I hope everyone agrees.

Hey guys sorry i have'nt come to the track yet my savage has been down everything from those !@#$ pullstarts to the underhead i just ordered the hot bodies rotostart and i rigged a new head up on my .21 so as soon as the parts come i hope i can make it down to the track oh yah savage21 what upgrades do you got on your savage any engine upgrades i had the .25 but stupid exhaust port thing broke off and a glow plug coil ruined my cylinder talk about bad luck so i hope to see ya all soon if i ever am not fixing my truck :p

Yeah, I found a small spring to put in there for now. I hope to have the correct parts by sunday though. Hey Knoxville, I know how you feel, just keep working on it, once the savage is running, it's a reliable truck. And fast too!

hey savage21 i know, its very reliable and fairly fast. So man what engine do ya got in ur rig and any other good up grades and i love workin on my truck i just hate spending money on parts
