Things sure have changed in the Production points in the last two weeks. Jahred Smith who was our points leader didn't show and has dropped to third much to the delight of those that moved up I bet. The rest of the classes are all but decided and plaques will be distributed next week when we finish up the day.

I believe the production class "problems" are inheirent. It comes with the competitiveness and swell of participants we've all witnessed this year. You guys nailed it. No, you don't want to see these guys spending x amount of coin to race, and they shouldn't. They just want to be competitive. If you want to put a stop to it, make it a parade, not a race.

Got a big box yesterday by Big Brown Truck, actually a couple of them but only one was truely mine. LOL Should have seen me try to get that truck out without scattering styrofoam peanuts all over because the guy packed it in peanuts! It needs a good looking over (seems to be a slight "clicking" noise every now and again?) but I'm now an official member of the EMAXX club..............whooohoooo. LOL Of course once my brother saw it we had to "test drive" the beast and it seems like it's gonna be a blast. I don't know who will run it more actually! LOL Bring on the off road season. :D

the " clicking" noise might be one of the pins in the outdrives. mine was doing that and the pin on the right rear outdrive was coming out and hitting the rear bulkhead. :thumbsup:

hey, sup everybody....man i haven't posted here in like a year, o well. i just thought i would stop by and talk some track with all you pro rc's. here's what i think about the production dilema......i think they should be aloud to run whatever they want, its there money....let them spend it as they please, yall see that rick isn't really complaining.....he's gettin most of it, hehehe. plus it is called production....."PRO"duction, these guys aren't gonna race this class forever, maybe they plan on moving up, and are just little by little trying to upgrade, so they can be compedative when they do move up.

when does offroad start????? if its in june then its a little late, most ppl will be preoccupied and already be involved in something, and we will have another bummer year again, and dont use the excuse of track conditions, no time to get it ready, etc., cause i know if you guys needed some help i would be more than willing to lend my time, maybe you could schedule a work day and cook out, and get a whole bunch of ppl helping out. oh and maybe we could even put in some BIGGER jumps.....hehehe

oh.....do i get any points trophies??????

What do you have any way Jim xxt or xxxt it looks like a xxt right? XXT bought it sometime ago, bout 3 or 4 years ago never did anything with it...till now.

Any of you guys ever think I might want a little time off before we get started racing again though? :rolleyes: I don't really see how the time line would hurt turnout. I mean if people are going to come race, they are going to come race even if we get started in September. Hold tight guys, I'm still in discussion with my partner about changing the track layout anyway. The good thing is, it appears now that it is packed in it dries a LOT quicker so when we start on it, it shouldn't take long to finish if the weather holds. We may start before June but points definitly won't start till June.

What a great year of racing we had, our best ever. I'd like to thank each and every person that spent a day at our track this winter for all the support. We had some great racing and I'm sure it will spill over to the summer season. I'm about to head out to go finish up cleaning but figured I'd post the final weeks results. One of the best races of the day had to be Powderpuff BuRP. The ladies involved really put on a good show!

They run on Friday nights, so its a kinda late night. Maybe we can organize a road-trip!!
