A buddy of mine bought a T maxx used, awhile back with a cv-r .18 on it and i got elected to fix it, since hes never owned an RC car of any sort. He did not even know if it ran. Well i got it home put a new glow plug it in it and fired it up. It ran for a second and the clutch engauged as if it where idling too high but then, it seemed as if it shifted gears and then stalled. All of this happend ,and I had not even driven it. Any one got any thoughts?

turn the idle way down maybe?
