Hello all,
Being new here I hope that im not asking to much but I need help with a rebuild of a briggs. actually 2 of them.
I have a aluminum block 130200 series engine that is (was) on an mtd tiller made in 76'.
What i would like to know is when rebuilding these can you just hone the cylinder out to say .010 or .020 over or should you get a machine shop to bore and hone it for you???. I searched through this site plus picked up a copy of the chilton manual but the chilton manual is kinda vague on the topic.
Any help would be appreciated.
Also where is the best place to get a overhaul kit???
thankyou in advance

Bore it and hone it. For parts, either a online source or a small engine shop nearby.
