The last time we were there my rollout was 2.10, pair of white springs in the front, silva gold center spring, blue on the left and silver on the right. 12.3 left rear.
The car wasn't bad, it needed a little more tweaking.

I've finally figured this short track stuff out. My problem is I was always thinking like at the Monster it's one two three turn, One two three turn. Now I know it's One turn, One turn. Ahhhhhh, Thats more like it:thumbsup:.

I just looked at the points after two races. Excellent! A three way tie for 1st in the 4300 class between Dave P., Michael Gitchell and myself. Who'll prevail at Fasttracks? Only time will tell and none of us have finished lower than 5th in the first two races. Uh oh better get Maaco. Dave won the 1st one, Myself the 2nd and Gitchell has a 3rd and a 2nd respectively. Could it be his time? Time will tell but I think I'm adding some body braces.

all I know is if Brushless keeps being hack fests then I'm going to quit running it. Guys need to do 2 things hold your line and hold your line. funny thing about that is first you must pick one.

Dave,

The race director needs to black flag the cars that are several laps down..

Its not fun to be running up front and get taken out by a car thats several laps down...

We need to get Katfish a new blue flag with a yellow strip on it!! LOL

the car in question was on the lead lap and fighting for a top 3 finish. like i said brushless is full of different skill levels at this time.dave just got paid back for something he did 18 years ago to a kid in school! it's a karma thing! and i am a karma expert! lol

will team naples be in attendance for race # 3 ??? you knuckle heads spent an entire winter talking up the series and giving me many headaches as well, lol.

btw brushless is not the largest class...yet i think it's third on the food chain.

less than 6 days and counting! i just wanted to pass along a few items of interest. the focar series has two promoters classes in place. tim at fast t rack has decided on two classes that his regulars run at the track. this would be like the speedline touring truck class we had last year at speedline. the rules for the promoters classes are listed below. THESE CLASSES ARE NOT POINTS CLASSES IN THE FOCAR SERIES.

Just a couple of days until the FOCAR race. Just wanted to give everyone a update and to let you know our option classes. The track is being converted as I type this. Also we will be having a BBQ on Friday night and Saturday for lunch. So make sure you come hungry!!!! Option Classes are going to be as follows:

OUTLAW TOURING OVAL:
NO GAS OR NITRO VEHICLES
MUST USE TOURING CAR BODY (NO OVAL BODIES)
6-CELLS, ANY MOTOR
ANYTHING ELSE IS FAIR GAME!!!!!!!!!

MINI COOPER OVAL:
6-CELL
STOCK MOTORS!!

Looking forward to seeing everyone for some killer racing on the short track!!

I HAVE A NICE NEW KSG GENERATION TWO CAR KIT FOR THE RAFFLE! PLUS A PROTOFORM DIDGE CHARGER 06 AND SOME OTHER GOODIES FROM PROMATCH! CYA THERE william sell

I guess everyone is recovering from the heat! Another great Focar Event! Fast Tracks is very smooth and fits it's name, A fast track for a short track. I hope everyone had as good a time as I had. The 19t A was hilarious! Maybe we should have a parachute class next year! See ya'll at Stricklands in a few weeks!

Another great race with good people thrown in the mix too. The new surface was top notch and the racing was good.

I'll have to admit I only watched the 19t A for about the first three laps but then took off to start loading up the truck. I heard all the whooping and hollering and didn't really realize it was laughter till it was almost done. The pit are was being broken down so quick that it was kinda noisy over there.

We dodged a bullet again so sofar thi syear FOCARS is 3 for 3, Will we make it 4 for 4 nest month? Lets all hope so.

Till then, See ya!

Great weekend of racing. Thanks to some great input and wrenching help from some super racers, continued to improve with every heat! That's all I could ask for. Dave's right it is a great bunch of folks and I enjoy every racing weekend in FOCAR. Thanks to Dave P and David Preston for a lot of help with our CW Aggressors!

See you at Strickland in a few weeks!

As everyone else have said GREAT RACING yesterday. I really enjoyed it. Thanks for FastTracks for hosting the event, Tim for an outstanding job annoucing the races. Can you tell with all his enthusiam "YO" LOL. And we all have to thank the lady at the grill I think her name is Melissa. She spent the whole day cooking burgers, hotdogs, and chicken in the hot outdoors. Thank you for that.

wow! i have been racing for 20 plus years and have never seen a race like the 19 turn A main before! i did see a million mole crickets swarm the whip in the invitational A main one year and it was ugly! but a napkin on the grill of boylans car and a ice bag lands on two cars in the same main? boylan realy conjured up the demons to take that win saturday! he said he had a few tricks up his sleeves! man it was hot! race recap monday thanks again for a great saturday of racing. bill

race number three saw the series travel to fast track hobbies in longwood florida. track temps hit 145 degrees and the racing was just as hot! if you made it to race three you may have got to see some things you may never see again?

stock: the stock class has gotten very small but the racing is good none the less. all the way from jacksonville florida we see that our class TQ was also the race winner mr. eugene biala takes the hard fought win in stock followed by mike dispenza and local strickland racer steve reid take third.

pro stock: the pro stock class had it's best turn out all year with some of the fsear racers returning from a long break and getting in some oval action at it's finest.
MR. stock tony padilla came back from the dead to not only TQ the pro stock class but back it up with a huge win! series regular billy bruce needs to go back and re-think his stock racing program after saturdays performance with a second place finish. third place went to mr. hobby world tom pedano followed by his other brother steven.filling out the field was scott(mr. math) fillingham and the butts pirate himself david butts!

custom works sprint cars: the sprint car class also had the largest field of the year for those guys with 6 cars battling it out for the win.
TQ kip powerbusch had some bad luck in the main and could only muster up a third place finish. taking the win and i think it's a first for him is chris brimmer followed by david carlbert. dark cloud winner carl ross went the entire race for once and came in fourth followed by the glitch mich gitchell and new car owner rockin ron.

the big boyz pro 19 turn:this is our largest class and where the big boyz hang out.

mr rock david preston drove a flawless third round and took TQ honors away from ernie bucci only to have the sand bagger himself(or is that ice bagger) mike boylan steal the win on the last lap! this race was crazy from the tone and alot of us saw what may have been a less than perfect main for the 19 turn boyz. there was alot of take and no give when the horn sounded and it didn't get any better the longer it went! ernie bucci had the car to beat early but had some bad luck handed to him by a fellow jacksonville racer and pulled his car off 15 laps in. chris lawson fought his way up to third only to have garbage collect on his rear spoiler ending his chances of victory. when the garbage finally fell off lawsons car it had to go somewhere right? well it did and this time it was onto the race leader david prestons car with only two laps to go! after mike boylan went into the pits for a brief grill cleaning due to a hot dog wrapper clogging his grill and over heating his engine he came back out and ran down the leader who was now sailing to victory with only one turn to go mike stole the win brickyard style from young rookie david preston. with the win mike is getting closer to locking up yet another focar cup for 2006! what will we see at race # 4 i can't wait to find out!

NOVAK BRUSHLESS 43K: this class has now had three different race winners in as many races!
ronnie hames attending his first race of the year ran a clean race and avoided the big one to take the win first time out! followed by the glitch mich gitchell and david butts. the points are too close to figure out yet who is going to take the cup. i think this class will go all the way to race six to determine a class winner!

12th scale 19 turn: what can i say? mike (santa clause) bean has found a way to win his third straight time in 2006! fresh off a horrible race rock showing mike had something to prove. mike was TQ and the race winner followed by the 45 car rich baran and bryan(i need a damn day off) roebuck took a nice third place finish.
bryan also took time out from his racing day to help a fellow driver tweak his car so he could at least have a car he could race with in the B main.nice job bryan!!

we had 77 entries and no rain all day! i want to thank everyone for their support of the series and i want to thank fast track and tim squared for a killer race track!

i hope to see you all at race # 4 at stricklands r/c park on saturday july 8th. gates open at 2 pm.

thanks to the sponsors for the raffle donations and we are now half way to getting a lap top for 2007! thanks again william sell

Just hook into the host track's loop & AMB gear and you're up & running. And you'll have all of the series regulars already in the computer-just type-in the "guests" info. Should make registration & heat/mains setup (and FOCAR points) a whole lot easier and the race classes more consistent month-after-month.
