We will be holding a benefit race for Dave Prescott at Central Maine R/C Raceway in Fairfield Me. on June 10, 2006, the doors will open at 8:00 am. and racing will start at 12:00 pm....He has been going through some hard times with health problems and we think that this would help bring his spirits up..We know that there are other races going on this weekend..But this was the best time for us to plan this...
This will be a bring your own motor...The cost of this race will cost $20.00 and all standard rules will apply..We will run legends,stock.19turn spec and mod...If you can't make the race and would like to make a donation feel free to e-mail me at dancingd@comcast.net or Casey at Caseybegin@verizon.net...
All proceeds from this race will be going to Dave..

Dennis - I would love to come and show some support - but I know Madness is having racing on the 10th and we have our first summer series on the 11th, which requires us to be open on the 10th for practice.... I will let Chad know though - maybe we will reconsider.

Always a Great Time at Central Maine! I wish I could attend but I have my god daughters birthday on that date. But Beefy Products will send prizes to this very good cause. I think it is great that Dave has loyal racers supporting him. I look forward to the next event. We always have fun with great racing and good food! Let's face it, good food is the most important! I am def going, I might have to drag some people up there though. If you don't go to Fairfield or if you have never been, you dont know what racing is all about. It's fast, competition is excellent! So I encourage racers that are thinking about going, or want to go......... TO GO! See you guys June 10th.

Looking to get up there, but I dont know if I can pull it off. I have been up the past 2 months, and I am going to NY at the end of June. I am going to try to make the 800 mile drive though :freak: . Maybe we can talk K&N into moving their 1st summer series race to the next weekend, so we can pull all of those drivers too. I know Danielle loves to make chages to race dates. :thumbsup: (see sizzler thread). Anyway, hope this one turns out to be a good one. Hope I can make it.

I gave Patty instruction on what to do with any incomming deliveries related to prizes etc. for the race. Everyone is excited at the track for the event. I asked Patty to order some supplies. Let's hope she listened. She was in rare form last night. (not in a good way)..... The races went good. I gotta say the Legends are fun to watch. in the 19 turn Eben was the man last night. His car was FAST! Increadable...

Hey Jim,
If you want, you can send the board and prizes directly to me. That way, you can be assured the prizes will get to the race and not misplaced. Do the Legend parts you have include any of the front end crossbraces? The drivers seem to break those and the front bumpers the most.
Let me know if you want to send them down to me and I'll give you my mailing address.

If Justin is not able to attend the race (he is planning on it) I will be bringing up the donation he committed to. Also I believe I will be bringing up another racer as well. I hope Heath will be able to announce the races, that would be the coolest thing to have him there. Car ran well lastnight on the flat track, let's hope I can get it to where it needs to be on the high banks. The Hyperform/JBR Cells ride is ready to go! Is it June 10th Yet?
