Why is the body set to expire in less than a year?

The body does not conform to ROAR rules and was given approval conditionally by the recommendation of the oval class committee at the request of the Excomm for evaluation.

The body can be resubmitted, at no cost to the manufacturer, for reapproval at any time.

I would have to thank roar and the oval committee as well.

But, this body has no feature that doesnt conform to the rules as stated at this time. With change in the oval body ranks here and to stay you will see more bodies done in the fashion the HDX was. What you see in the HDX is a great bench mark for future bodies. It is stock car in appearance, but without the Name brand attached to it that would continue to increase the cost of racing. Sizes and measurement conform but it has some new features that have not been done before.

:) Rob, just touting the company line.... This body is wonderfully crafted and I'm sure will be around for years to come. The rules are being looked at for 2007, as you were informed by ROAR. We thank you sooooo much for your patience in this matter.

Murphy's Law, you know? (inside joke for Rob... he'll get it.. :) )

Its all good Dawn :) I have been talking with some of the others on involvment on develping some specific guide lines already. I think it would good for all of us Body manu's. Maybe someday in the future all body manu's can get together in some form to come up with something that we all agree on that would help the sanctioning bodies and us at the same time. We all know what needs to be done from here on out I know and everyone being on the same page would be good for the racers and racing in general.
